My puppy prefers other toys than the expensive ones I hope he would enjoy. I have to watch him close for eating cloth and stuffing. He likes tearing up a cereal box, paper towel roll, oatmeal box, cigar box It’s a mess to clean up but he just tears it into shreds and doesn’t eat it, wel maybe a little of it but I don’t have to worry over him like I do a stuffed toy or something with a squeek in it.

My observations thus far indicate the older GSD is most addicted to hard red Kong balls. One of the few toys that survive her incredibly strong jaws and sharp teeth.

The puppy seems to be a 'flosser', more preferring rope toys, but really anything she thinks will make the older GSD concerned, too.

You have to be careful with dogs and squeaky toys - as in this great movie called - 'Snatch' -

News in the local paper this AM indicates there've been FIFTY-FOUR people indicted, involved in a major organized drug distribution 'ring' involving Cali., Oregon, and Alaska.

Another 74 people indicted for money laundering in the case.

8 of the 54 are looking at federal life sentences.

Weights are impressive until one considers the area involved, but it was being run by a fellow incarcerated in Cali, from his prison cell, and the primary recruiter in Alaska, working on getting those about to be released soon to join up, is a woman in Highland Mountain Correctional, near Eagle River, Ak. (*Highland Mountain used to be a primary prison for the sex offenders to serve time in here).

But these folks had it dialed down for shipments of smaller size into remote villages, with the villages to be shipped to being pre-designated, and the report stating (accurately or not) that (as an example) a shipment the Village of Tyonek had received included the equivalent of 44 lethal doses of fentanyl for every resident in the village.

Now, I know that Law Enforcement math can get creative, saw it in motion for years. But DAMN!

Late edit: this last year there was a weird double murder of 2 women near Trapper Creek, and the bodies of the 2 women who were killed were buried locally in shallow graves. One from Anchorage and one from Fairbanks, if I recall correctly.

The assumption or news had been they were somehow involved in a buy involving folks out of Anchorage.

Turns out the large, organized group involved in today's indictments are the source of the folks involved in that violence.

If one wants extra heat on a business venture, bring callous violence into it.

And I always thought that fentanyl was a sorta self euthanasia - if self administered - and I wonder why they don't give it to those on death row ? - seems a bit more humane than bumping someone off with nitrogen gas - which is the top story in the most popular UK newspaper today -

These days fentanyl is so much cheaper than heroin that many unscrupulous dealers working with H cut it with the fentanyl. Problem being that when you kill off your customer base, business is apt to decline at least a little bit.

A failure of basic math lessons in the schools, I think.

"If Bob has three heroin customers and kills 2, what percentage of business has Bob lost?"

I been thinking that for quite a while. Better than morphine which I was told was a peaceful way to bring on death. The look in my dad’s eyes when the nurse pulled his breathing tube out told me different. That fking sucked. I nearly dragged the woman back into his hospital room when she started to walk out. Did I say ‘healthcare’ sucks earlier? If not, it does…

Somewhere around 66%?

What I reckon the problem with that - is that fentanyl has been purported to be a 100x stronger narcotic - than heroin - and so when junkies 'spoon-up' - they don't do the correct sums - and overdose - maybe just using a bit less of the powder - than they would heroin - if they even know that there is fentanyl in the smack - in the first place - because dealers are selling heroin with fentanyl in it - so killing their customers off - which is not sound business sense at all - agreed -

- in my life I've found 3 people that had O.D'ed and died - all quite young - always a sad and sorry situation they leave behind them - if they still have anyone who cares about them left - some don't -

Morphine and I are not good friends.

When I had my triple laminectomy and the nurses missed one of my every-4-hours oxycodone doses, rather than wasting time playing catch-up, they administered a mere 2 mg of morphine to my IV.

The classic 'I'm gonna' puke right now' response to booting up heroin'? -Oh- yeah... In spades.

My requirements for death are that it be painless, uneventful, and preferably involve some really good dreams of splendor that go beyond any imagination. Add all of that in on a guaranteed basis, and I'll pre-pay the ticket. No BS.

And the folks doing the mixing often skipped chemistry class and don't have any experience as pharmacists.

What could go wrong?

The group involved is now facing multiple murder charges for ODs, I believe, as well as 3 of the honchos facing the 2 counts for the 2 women in Trapper Creek area.

I'm all for Portugal's format in drug laws; it reportedly cut down on number of users, increased number of those openly seeking treatment once the stigma was removed, achieved -some- minimal intervention in the supply side, and let cops focus on violent crimes.

We could fight this 'war' for eternity, and as long as there's someone needing money who's willing to go above and beyond, and a demand, there's going to be profit in engaging in these businesses.

A close family member runs a methadone program, as well as working with folks with HIV/AIDS, and other serious illnesses. They've become jaded over the years where ignorance meets self-destruction. They were once very idealistic about their work.

The government should set up a 'Walter White University' - for aspiring meth cooks and purveyors of narcotic drugs - so that no one can be a dealer without doing a course - on the particular drug/s they wish to distribute - should lead to less people dieing -

hooboy!~!!!

This here is a riveting documentary of The Battle of 73 Easting in 1991 Iraq.

The coalition lost one Bradley. It was a fargin massacree.

The telling/description/guys-who-were-there make it sound like a video game.

Crazy-ass things happened... like two Bradleys bust out of a sandstorm to find they are in the middle of a blue jillion Rooshian T-72 heavy tanks.

They blew the shit out of seven of them and left. One of the guys talking into the camera noted the T-72 turning its turret to point blank on him while he just kept shooting the only thing he had left: His useless BB-gun 30mm. tinkytinkytink.

Stone balls!! <-- TINS

Gotta see this:

IMO anybody who takes black market pills today is playing Russian Roulette. I took a lot of hard drugs back in the 60's. One of my favorites was White Cross. Good Speed. Put you in the best mood both at work and play.

All of a sudden they started cutting it with some crap that just made you jittery. No more erotic feeling. Just jumpy nervousness. Same thing happened to all black market drugs.

The worst was coke. My friend and still is bragged about how he cut it with baby laxative. That pissed me off to no end. No wonder every time I did a line I felt like i had to go to the bathroom.

Actually that was the best thing that could have happened to me. I cold turkey coke and never have done it since.
