Okay. Now that they determined that, per the crash, they could not assess fault to either the gubmint or the airlines (convenient), at least they did some honest constructive thinking and determined that no helicopters should be operating in the area of the two main runways at Reagan (there are three in total, one is auxiliary). For anyone that flies regularly into there, this is a small breath of sanity. The airport is insanely busy anyway. I guess it took the probability, indeed likelihood, that this tragedy could easily happen again, for someone to step up, and say, enuf!

I have 4 friends of mine that own companies and they decided to misclassify their employees as sub contractors and issue 1099's.

All 4 got a visit from the IRS over the last 5 years and it cost them big bucks. Some got away with 1099 employees for 5 years some 10 years. Eventually the IRS shows up with a big ass bill.

Aren't taxes for fiat Federal Reserve Notes?

One could pay employees Constitutional money, i.e., silver as in 1964 and earlier silver coins?

For example a 1964 Kennedy Half Dollar ($0.50) is worth $11.85 in Federal Reserve notes, BUT the face value of $0.50 is how the taxes would be calculated.

Like I said at the very beginning: eggbeater pilots are -- as a general group -- the most undisciplined aviator class.

This is not hyperbole. The examples of copter pilots doing incredibly dangerous, stupid, unnecessary airborne stuff are legion. We have ALL seen videoed examples of gratuitous dare-devil stuff done just for "fun" by them.

These guys were using night goggles (training/qual flight) -- and even in a qualification flight**, they were at the wrong altitude

** On your Instrument Rating test, you must stay within a 50-foot range of your assigned altitude. Not 60, and most certainly not 100+ feet. That is in a fixed-wing aircraft, where altitude control is NOT as precise as rotary-wing aircraft. So these guys were both breaking the law.

The very fact it was a fargin checkout ride makes any other reason than sloppy, careless flying and supervision to be as easy to swallow as a Vaseline sandwich.

They were being typical copter pilots.

I appreciate this forum and like your take on things. This is the only forum I belong to and I do not have any social media accounts other than I lurk Reddit without a user account. Mostly I was making mock at the division between the premium side of the house and the pleb side. In reality I don't really care. I don't even know if it is true or real. I'm not going anywhere and I ain't got shit to do but grow weed and be cool especially here in South Florida. It's a destination for some people, it's a home for me and it isn't easy living here. Kind like being in the forum. Not easy. If you are not careful your street cred drops to hell.

And Florida is like a huge prison yard. I operated freely in the prison yard because I have weed, wares, and other shit the other prisoners want. It makes it easier to operate in the analog world. In the digital world that option is not available so the sounds out of the sound hole better not be sounds not well received or the isolation and other shit begins. It's truly fascinating.
@Drippy Sally -- Well, glad to see another one of us from South Floriduh. I'm inna woods in Palm Beach County. Where are you?

Cloudy with sprinkles here, starting at 40F and predicted to reach 51F.

Gym this morning and then off to Fernhill dawg park with Miss Layla to let the housekeepers have their way with the homestead.

Good Morning All (OF's):

A little behind today and have a meeting coming up. Need to get with it pronto.
We workerbees are half way though the grind. Some solace in that too. Amen.
You professional relaxers carry on. We need your input for peace & harmony.
Hope it's nice where you are. We dodged a week of rain bullet here somehow.

Wishing each and every one of you, a pleasant morning, wonderful day, and outstanding evening.
I am currently pretty tied up with projects and work, so wanted to start with a daily check in hello.
Today is duly considered a "hump day". So, I hope and trust all of us will get over any big humps!

See you all tomorrow (again)! (y):)
