What happens when I drinkI prefer a coffee in the afternoons than an alcoholic beverage these days. I usually just fall asleep early when I drink anymore but Ive never been a mean drunk or one to get me in any trouble.

@Boo -- That ain't nasty glass, that's genuine nose art. When I was letting the boys back in early this morning, the sun had been out and it was shining on the rear door of the porch. I looked down to see a nasty lower 3 feet of the glass on the door and realized it was from Ivan‘s nose. That’s the true sign of a happy house.
We need to work on that after yodeling class and before bingo.Ive never been a mean drunk or one to get me in any trouble.
I'm not believing my eyes Detroit has a two touchdown lead with 5 minutes to go.

For those on boats: A nearly instant cure for seasickness is Gari<-- That's the pickled ginger you see on sushi plates.I didn't know until this last year or so that they are effectively used to negate or counter nausea.
And I think they're made with raw cane sugar (the ones we get, anyway), though at some point, carbs is carbs.
Why we more or less gave up brown rice, too.

For me, no fish that come from the Pacific Rim. I dunno if you have ever seen a Viet/Thai/Whatever fish farm, but you would be horrified.I’m super picky about where the meat and seafood comes from and don’t buy farmed fish/shrimp or anything from China.
Best of luck!Good morning brothers and sisters! View attachment 18949712 View attachment 18949713
More rain starting at 39F and predicted to reach 53F. Most of the ice and snow is gone from the sidewalks and streets.
SIL now in residence, hanging out on the couch. With her back and balance screwed up as they are, we are afraid for her to use the stairs to reach the upstairs guest room.
My second medial branch nerve block is scheduled for this morning. If it works as well as the first one, I will be proceeding with the RFA.
Note Below The Note Below -- A Quote:For me, no fish that come from the Pacific Rim. I dunno if you have ever seen a Viet/Thai/Whatever fish farm, but you would be horrified.
In the main, they are fed with sewage.
Somewhere I have a picture of a "toilet" from that area... hope I can find it. Nope. Damn. Well, lemme describe it:
Boards extending out over a canal on posts to a small shed about ten feet above the canal surface. When you walk out there to the Holy Seat, the fish gather with their mouths out of the water below you.
Squeeze out a big, hairy Annapolis, and there is a thunderous splashing (hence the ten-foot altitude) as the fish devour your output. I have done this. The worst part was the crowd on shore cheering the huge American after each splash. <-- TINS (I have led an interesting life, no error.)
The fish are drag-netted out of the canal, sorted for size and sold. For export. <-- See Note Below:
Note Below: Consumer Union tested fish in soopermarkets. MOST of them were incorrectly identified by the seller.
