Brilliant like the stars above.

5 more hours and Mrs S&S is tired of me and on to tennis. I prefer loud music and need to dive into something deeper. Still anxious and need to concentrate to see the fuzzy lines but they are there with the proper focus. No time yet as I need to release this energy plants are dark so no help from them. May have to romp in the woods to focus it out. Cold needs fire and fire needs meat.

I know how that is, no cell service here so I use my trusty 50 y.o. rolodex that has more lines thru names than names left.... : (
I use the '1,000 scraps of paper' filing system for phone numbers and important notes. As long as no one else goes searching for stuff on my insanely cluttered desk, it works just fine. I can usually tell someone where something is with exceptional accuracy.

But I know almost immediately if someone else has gone through the cluttered desk surface, as key items are not immediately findable where I left them.

Usually when I need a phone number, there's a TALL pile of scrap paper pieces, mostly fairly small in size, and in that location beneath the old collection of unused computer discs, lies decades of phone numbers.

Not efficient, but effective.

I know this is an old post but it’s relevant in this situation. I am experiencing what big is with his chickens in my world with my friends. Last year f or my 70th birthday party My buddy had a huge party for me…I sat there and I got 30 names out of my phone but the problem was I had 20 friends that were dead, but their numbers are still on my phone along with Linda’s… getting old brings a lot of problems to the forefront that nobody ever prepares for when they’re young
I can’t seem to delete the folks from my phone that have passed. I guess the older I get, the more numbers I am not able to call anymore but just seeing their names and the pictures I’ve assigned to them in my phone remind me that life is short and as much as I would love to push the call button, it’s not possible anymore.

Thinking of my friends and family both old and young that have left this earth before me has lightened me up a bit in life and taught me what I use to think was important was not important at all and the most important things of all was always there. Scroll thru you address book on your phone and find someone (still alive) that you have fond memories of and give them a call and remind them that they crossed your mind today. That always help me when I’m thinking who’s not here anymore. Sweet dreams boo 💕

I can relax now

Made the mistake of drinking a cup of coffee on an empty stomach before the shrooms. I will never ever do that again.

Waves of nausea followed by energy bursts are slowing down and things are mellowing out. Cold feet are like grounding rods.

Enjoy

I might do a little peyote but my shroom days are long gone, .. it is wot it is

Midnight snack. Hope I don't pay for this tomorrow.

Peyote was something I always wanted to do early on and never managed to find it. I'm afraid of it now.

This is only my second trip since around 96 when my son was born. I'd like to start doing it seasonally, but we will see what the future holds before a commitment

I think I may be able sleep now.

that’s good news Amigo!….i am chuffed about this hybrid , smell , taste , and high , should check all the boxes

then there are the other crosses that still need tested , the Snowcain , Grape Haze , Golddigger , and something Hammer , I need to ask Pute what the strain was again

all crossed with a Triangle Kush from Goat and Monkey Seeds

Triangle Kush and OG Kush , both seeds made in south Florida in 1991 in the same garage of Marty.
The mother was called Emerald Triangle (in our circle from around ‘87) and that garage was stuffed wall to wall with it ,

A pack of Hindu Kush seeds that I bought from Neville , Amsterdam in 1989 was being tested after a pre sex test . One of those pre sexed Hindu Kush seeds created a bit of unseen pollen near the AC intake , that managed to make seeds thru out that entire 12 light garage .

Those lbs where then sold by myself to a close buddy near Orlando , where he would then piece them out to his circle of friends . One of his buddies would find the Triangle Kush seed and another guy found the Kush seed that would later get named OG Kush once it made its way west to California .

The Emerald Triangle strain was given to my old partner from an older head from the Washington area before I ever even knew he was a grower as I was buying pounds of it already to sell in 87-88 . Added fact ,

The Emerald Triangle leaned more towards a earthy spicy , flower smelling , sweet candy like terps and not chemi or fuel like at all . fuel or gassy terps must have came from the Hindu .
OMIGOD!

Yet another completely unknown world suddenly blinks into existence.

This is the stuff of movies and books. The detailed** history of a very special, accidentally created famous flower.

Somebody like James Burke ("Connections") could do it.

@Putembk -- Have you tried the calf bandage thing? It ain't black magic crap... It's real for sciatic nerve pain presenting down the leg.

Here's a link. Read the reviews to get the real skinny:
Balls. Dunno how to post the Amazon link to BeActive+ Sciatica Pain Relief Brace. <-- Use that and it'll pop up.

I don’t know if nerve blockers other than the ones they give you in the surgery suite. I haven’t taken anything for it except for all of the gabapentin and other bullshit drugs they tried to convince me would help. All those drugs did was make me woozy and out of sorts. I’d rather smoke a joint and get that way. I am scheduled in three weeks to have RFI done on my spine. That’s when they burn the nerves from the spine to the brain to kill the signal.
@Boo -- I am so hoping you get a break from pain, my brother. You deserve it.

Commiseration and good luck brother! Are you scheduled for the pre-tests or for the actual RFA?

I had my first medial branch nerve block to determine if it is the medial branch nerves causing the pain, and it was successful. Another one tomorrow to verify for the insurance company, and then the procedure, which has yet to be scheduled at this point.

@Boo -- Oh you are right about that. At 83, I have seen the passing of my sister and brother, all my cousins, and just this week -- my lifelong absolute best friend.

Boo's well-put "getting old brings problems to the forefront" resonates.

We cling to our smaller world. It's not all sad; but it certainly is different. Unlike books you can read when younger that tell you how to thrive in the world ahead of you, there are none about how to watch your original world shrink to near zero.
