No I just copied them from a site. I love animals and find them so beautiful.

We have that up in MA as well. I think they call it a mast year. I guess the trees sync up and drop a ton of acorns in an evolutionary scheme to overwhelm the animals that eat them. Too many acorns so some extras get to grow into trees.

That is what the wife said and added that it was the result of it being so dry this summer. ,

The ones raining down here are the size of marbles. Big enough that they hurt and have pinged dents in my truck hood.
