MAD only works when dealing with semi sane people. Putin thinks he can lob a few and the west will be to chickenshit to toss a few back. Same with a few other AXIS countries.
Government should be exactly like Jury Duty and pay the same. You get a Draft notice. Do the job for a year or 2 at your current wages. Done deal. No fat severance pay. No huge .gov pension...... Certainly couldn't be worse than the mess we have now. Odds are at least a few of the drafted would have enough Civic pride to actually make moves good for the country and not just for filling their pockets with taxpayer coin.

I don't like your politics, it divides you all and causes arguments. I try and stay away when it gets bought up.
I just hope whoever wins can at least make you feel proud of their achievements in office when they leave. That they can do some good in the world.

I did my 6 miles of walks. Laying on the couch watching Ohio State and Penn State. Smoking ice hash as usual. Mom took my crockpot out and started a chicken soup. Just need to throw in noodles when I'm hungry. Bought some Texas Toast 3 cheese and toasted raviolis. The oven will be pumping. Usually sippin on Capri Sun
