The best investment I ever made in my life was to pay for Scooter to go to college and then medical school. He has literally saved my life -- twice.

One of the moves I made to make an infant smile was to get down on one knee in front of the posing table. I would lean back and then rock forward towards the baby while saying, "Ahhhh- Boo!" That move killed on the baby circuit until the morning after a Beach House Halloween Party. I was very very headachey as a result of Mr. Daniels and his free flowing brown liquor. Baby was posed on the table and I tried all kinds of things to get a smile. No luck no smile. I took the AhBoo position and the first three rocking attempts got me dizzy and nauseous but no smiles. Stoic Baby finally broke up when I switched to the 'fake sneeze' "Ahhhh-Choo!" move.
Got the shots! Baby gave me a fist bump and a wink.

On a different note, I'll officially be OAP this year when I hit 55. Finally got back to Hong Kong last year after three years of Covid lock-outs, but you wouldn't like the place now. I was there during the riots in 2019 and there was a big disconnect between the young-uns and the older crowd. The young folk wanted their freedoms like they had under British rule, but the old folk knew trouble was brewing – and they were right.
I got gassed a couple of times in 2019 but last year the place was dead. You hardly see any foreigners there now, mostly just mainland Chinese who have taken over. We were there at the best time, before the handover.
5th generation Floridian here. The sun and humidity makes gills grow after the 3rd generation.
