What did you use and how did it work. Can you still see the mold (white powder) or does it dissolve/wash off.
it's simple kev...I take a gallon of well water, add 1 tsp. of potassium bicarbonate and a spritz of dawn dish soap...mix well and hose the plants down, bottoms and tops...after a good soak I repeat and let dry before bring them back indoors...the PM sheets off the plant and rarely leaves any residual...it kills all pathogens by making the plant very alkaline but the PM can come back...constant diligence is needed once it comes into your garden...

see previous post of bridge diagram …..we may have to move you to the Advanced Senior Classes
We ended up putting a whole manufacturing plant on pilings, located in a reclaimed wetland.

The plant was located on a deep gravel bar dating from the last ice age, so we drove pilings to "resistance" (bedrock) to support the footings, over which we poured the floor slab. The structure was tilt wall, which we poured on the floor slab and tilted into place, and truss roofs.

when I was told I was moving out of the marital home I found a great piece of property on the river across from the state park...the price was steep but this was a once in a lifetime find...after doing my due dilligence I ran away from it...seems code insisted on pilings under the entire structure and the taxes just for the unimproved dirt was 10K a year...triple that for a nice house and a nice size dock...350,000 for the sitework and pilings...at least that for the house...

a lot of concrete that we poured was on slopes…driveways , sidewalks , patios …nobody wants standing water but they don’t want the leaning tower of pizza either

So we usually went 1/8 or 1/4 of an inch fall per foot

that doesn’t sound like much 1/8 of an inch fall per foot or 1 inch fall for every 8 feet…

that is plenty of slope to keep the water off

ome time we built a 17,000 sq foot ice skating rink and we shot the grades in with a laser…the floor had less than an 1/8 of an inch variance anywhere on the slab

that is all

Gotta ask. How many of you are using digital controls?
I'm very old school aint changed a thing in 40 some years, no joke.
I still use flouros thru veg, I still use a hps with air flow lense.
The only thing I've changed of late is I don't care to have all these bulk bags of ferts sitting around.
So I've gone to build a soil products.

I used to reamend the medium and just too much to deal with but I might start again since on a much smaller scale now.
That build a bloom mulch of there's, I like it it's got neem ground right into just enough to not be overbearing but enough for gnat control.

Cloning same deal Rockwool cubes, dome, clonex liquid and gel and an old style 18" flouro, thinking of taking that back up again.
Had one of the first mister cloners out back in the late 90's didn't care for it.

So how much advanced technology do you all use?

2% fall is standard for slab layout as well as the crown of the road.
I was always amazed at the number of people who just don't grasp the concept of gravity and how it effects water.
😆
Then again I used to do some landscaping and some people couldn't grasp green side up wormy side down........why we have so many warning labels.

I propose we all get together the second Monday of the month and have story time and maybe guest speakers,
We can make out the snack menu if there is interest🙄

I will wager that you have never pulled a 3-4-5 to square up a building..

how would you use a math theory by Pythagorus when selling used cars with undercoating?
I have no idea what you are talking about

Bwahaha....I am right there with you. Been doing this for a long long time and things are pretty much the same. No control panel.....timers, hps, mh and pretty much everything is a blast from the past.
