I like number 2. "Hey, you ended that with a preposition." EZ to fix, just add "bitch" on the end.

Looking but I don’t know the shark bites to much. Only that they installed my gas furnace with them and because the guy did not cut the pipes right, they leaked most of them. I would use them for sure tho if I were doing the work myself. So what’s wrong with the picture?
Uh I had no idea they were intended for gas! I used them, self installed on water pipes. No leaking period. The only reason I used them is it was an emergency and that was what was available at that time and place. Figuring they would need replacing, I was wrong. Been in place several years. Nary a drop.

Gas scares me, I won't fool with it. I watched a guy install a gas fired hot water heater, when done he said something about checking for leaks. He proceeded to wave a lit bic lighter around the joints, and announced "good to go."

Surprised me silly.

Reading a bit, I see such uses talked about using for gas, but not a blessing from the manufacturer. They are approved for in wall use, where the same source says compression fittings are not. I call bs. Either I don't understand what a compression fitting is, ( I have installed them) and that's all I have encountered in my extremely limited home repair world. Very limited.

4.56 am - and I'm up and about - the Colombian coffee ☕️ is hot - and being sipped - the spliff is being toked - but all else is quiet 🤫 as the rest of the family sleep - looks like Santa showed up sometime earlier - for there are lots of presents 🎁 and two stuffed stockings for the kids - it's a wee bit windy out here on the balcony - but not so cold 😀👍
MERRY CHRISTMAS - to all -
Well, I'm at Moms in Nashville, not legal state. 3 days now, no cannabis. Glad I didn't attempt the airport boogie. No weirdness yet. I know if I persist, I will lose ability to sleep for a few days, then the strangest dreams imaginable for a few nights then back to normal.

Good morning and merry Christmas all! View attachment 18937726 View attachment 18937727 View attachment 18937728

Lots of rain today starting at 40F and predicted to soar to 45F.

A nice Christmas dinner with Graywolf's stepdaughter, her daughter and hubby, and granddaughter. The granddaughter, our great granddaughter, is about six months old and a very happy baby, full of laughs and giggles.

The granddaughter's husband is a lawyer, but his hobby and the way he worked himself through school is cooking, and he fixed with prime rib, et. All well prepared and delicious.

Off to another dinner party today with old friends!
Merry Christmas GW
Does your Granddaughter husband have sister?

All my gas lines are the ancient black metal looking stuff. I had a water line to an outside faucet. The brass shut off in basement turned to butter, and could not be shut off. I prepared to cut it out and replace it, but it ran right by the gas line. Deciding to farm it out, I turned off water supply, and capped it off with shark bite. Still holding to this day. Other use was inline water line. The shark bite doesn't leak. Oddly it will literally spin in place. I think. I was pretty lit up at the time.
