Lots of rain today starting at 40F and predicted to soar to 45F.

A nice Christmas dinner with Graywolf's stepdaughter, her daughter and hubby, and granddaughter. The granddaughter, our great granddaughter, is about six months old and a very happy baby, full of laughs and giggles.

The granddaughter's husband is a lawyer, but his hobby and the way he worked himself through school is cooking, and he fixed with prime rib, et. All well prepared and delicious.

Off to another dinner party today with old friends!

Hey, not a bad idea. Sell our homes, dump 401k into a pot and build a nursing home for us. I'm down! We could all drink coffee together and have food fights! Grow tents in our rooms, Big's coffee girls, people would be dieing to get in.

Back in 1974 I was the victim of a very violent home invasion where my door was pushed in. I was hog tied, and I had the living shit beat out of me. I knew that I was going to die so I didn’t worry about taking any chances, but when that adrenaline kicked in I was a complete monster and I had no idea that my body was able to do the things it did… I have zero regrets and I’ve never had a nightmare about shooting the individual because if I didn’t shoot him, he would’ve shot me… those the moments in life, we do not think, you react and hope that your training and experience pulls you through

Bingo. I understand PTSD among soldiers. I have never been in a military battle, bombs, bazookas, etc.

If you try to kill me, it's gonna go bad, and I will wipe your blood off and sleep like a baby.
