Back breaking work right there! My concrete experience is limited to some repair work at the house I grew up in and a small reinforced slab under my Santa Maria grill. I've laid many scribe marks in concrete and leveled anchor bolts a bunch.

I've got two red plastic coated alligator clips on the power cord that goes from my deep cycle to my GPS base. Drives me crazy.

In the spirit of A Christmas Story, ‘you’ll put your eye out, kid!’
4.56 am - and I'm up and about - the Colombian coffee 
️ is hot - and being sipped - the spliff is being toked - but all else is quiet 
as the rest of the family sleep - looks like Santa showed up sometime earlier - for there are lots of presents 
and two stuffed stockings for the kids - it's a wee bit windy out here on the balcony - but not so cold

Good morning and merry Christmas all!
Lots of rain today starting at 40F and predicted to soar to 45F.
A nice Christmas dinner with Graywolf's stepdaughter, her daughter and hubby, and granddaughter. The granddaughter, our great granddaughter, is about six months old and a very happy baby, full of laughs and giggles.
The granddaughter's husband is a lawyer, but his hobby and the way he worked himself through school is cooking, and he fixed with prime rib, et. All well prepared and delicious.
Off to another dinner party today with old friends!

I am having Puck (AKA: My #2 son, Todd) and my grandlings and my grandson's serious squeeze here about 1PM.
Got a real susprise present for Puck: Totally by accident, in a drawer that had not been opened in decades, I found my pristine Feds 'n Heads game from 1971. It has cards like in Monopoly, but they are "Burns, Bummers, Busts, and Rip-Offs" and "Weird Trips".
We useta play it with hilarity, while Herself would tsk-tsk. (Weed was a only theory... never had any at that time.) It had spaces like: "Free Clinic: Pay $15"
