I just finished up on my very first day of working with Ivan. I found it best to start off slow with a half hour every morning, and then build up to an hour a day. I put on his work collar, and we worked on him sitting Squirrley at my left knee on command when I stop walking and then I have worked with him on his plate, German for lay down… he performs both commands very quickly and when I tell him to stay and walk away, he does just that until I call him to me… Ivan is going to be a very easy train

thanks for having us gypsy, it's comfortable to be around other reprobates and misfits...it was easy for me at OG when I had the keys to the kingdom...I've gotten older, slower, and crankier...I thoroughly enjoy the banter with like minded folks...

gawd I am glad all the paranoia is gone….paranoia will destroy ya

misfits still , even with all this legalization , the Reefer Madness crowd still lives..

me and Swede have a good laugh cause sometimes before we light up a big hooter , I will go over and start closing the blinds , look out the window….

it is almost like the weed is stronger if are are a little edgy…

but yeah , like minded humans indeed

and I know many of us have our opposing opinionated views and nobody is gonna change anyone’s minds

so there..

what works for me is to try and forgive and forget the past and focus on the things we ALL have in common

fishing , golfing , food , gardening especially……

we all have a lot more in common than what we disagree upon , that is how I see it…

this place reminds me of atlanta at rush hour...long gone are the days of knowing almost everybody that posts and some knowledge of all posts that are current...it's difficult to just check on what's new because there are a zillion threads...I miss the intimacy but not the lies and deceit that became prevalent there...I certainly burned the bridge with hippie and angie, called both liars many times on my last night...they're just sad people with no lives...my post count is very low, it's hard to keep up with such a large community...I enjoy you guys, the core of my friends online are yourselves...if this group were to dissapear my posting would cease...I'm sure there is plenty I don't know about growing flowers but I'm not learning much as of late...
Just got my shipment of new boxers in exotic colors if anyone is interested 😊

Good morning everyone. New puppy keeping me busy this morning
My sister and her husband just recently got two puppies - a pretty laid back 30-40 pound mut, and an 8 week old Lab. They've always been small dog people. They're my age.

And they have a brand new Labrador Puppy! ROFL!

I told her I got no sympathy for them. lol She said the Lab is "wearing them out".

(they're both smart peeps, but I wonder how fully they thought this out)

Yeah, still talk to all those grumpy old men. Lol Twisted had to quit smoking for awhile for his job or something, wasn't happy about that. You still got the black Buick? My little brother just bought a house outside of Ocala. Was thinking about your bamboo collection awhile back as I got 5 dif varieties planted around my cabin.

Maui was a pretty fucked up deal and continues to be so, more people have been killed over land and water.....

I am pretty fortunate, I live half time at my farm up in the rainforest slopes of the Big Island and then half at my beach house on the North Shore of Oahu.
I was stationed on Oahu for two years. I used to jump off the dive rock at Waiamea, then dive on down to a hole at the bottom of it and swim to the other side. My buddies would be waiting for me to come back up from my jump, and I'd sneak up behind them while they looked for me.

Saw some 35-40 foot waves there a couple times. Impressive! Hanauma Bay was one of my favorites.

the beans are still dry but I will post up when I see green...

my assumption as well subbie, 5.7 x 25 caliber is supposed to be close to a .223 in stopping power with a cartridge half the size...fully suppressed of course...

I get that feeling as well brother...
I looked at the 5.7 when FN first came out with theirs. Been a minute, but as I recall I was a little put off by the requirement for teflon-coated projectiles, if I remember correctly.
But nothing says flat trajectory like light weight speed does.
I haven't been 'in the market' for a while now...is the teflon requirement still a 'thing"?
