I think the Pre 98 Bubba is the one most people are actually looking for… It most resembles the SoCal Master Kush.

The grows I’ve seen of the Berger Cut or the Farmer Joe Cut don’t really strike me as the Bubba I remember.

There a long ass threads about Bubba on other forums with only 1 or 2 pics of anything actually resembling Bubba. Makes me realize that most people have no idea what Bubba actually is.

I'll start looking around for it. I've seen random buddies come across it and it pops up sometimes. It was literally everywhere here in LA and you know how that goes. Once everyone has it everyone loses it lol.

I think one of the main problems with the pre98 thing is that ThaDocta called the Shabud/Nspecta cut "pre98" jokingly because it was sourced by Shabud around that time. The pre98 most people seem to be familar with is the one Nspecta says was brought online by Swerve after the Shabud cut and Katsu cut.

I tried making a timeline with the help of Chat GPT about this earlier in the year hahaha. I'm not claiming this is 100% legit but I plugged in the dates, names, etc that I either researched or learned from Nspecta, podcasts, etc.

I did not include the "Matt Berger BK" because at the time I was (wrongly) under the assumption it was another name for the cut Nspecta & Shabud have. I learned that one was acquired straight from Orgnkid but possibly seems different than the Katsu BK which also came from Orgnkid?

The pre 98 is definitely different than the Matt Berger cut. What Cali con did with bubba is no different than what happened with Rez and his sour work.
While I can appreciate the work that was attempted, a huge disservice was done by naming the seedline after the clone itself

SCMK is around, but the Suge PK has likely gone the way of the dinosaurs…. People call the LAPK the Suge, but it’s not, it’s different and has also gone by the Puss Kush tag.

This is an old photo that i believe Delae on the farm posted some 15 years ago.

I've seen LAPK around but suge from what I know is a goner.
