Just up-potted a few into their final 3 gallon Hempy homes.
A variety of GG4 crosses along with two Alien OG.
They were ready for a larger bucket. At two weeks in Hempy solo cups they looked like this:

All tucked in as of tonight. Perlite was running short after a few buckets so I used a mixture of clean gravel with Perlite in the bottom layer up to the drain hole.

Im using the standard 3/1 Perlite/vermiculite mix. Coco isnt readily available here so I go with what I can get locally.
Nutes are Floranova grow for veg along with a bit of H&G algen extract for root growth along with an initial shot of CalMag.

One week update. They are blowin' in the wind in this photo. Got a new fan today. Cranking along on one tsp./gal. of Floranova grow along with a dash of Floraliscious+. I give them a misting of weak nutes every once in a while too. I FIM'ed most them tonight. They are at about 3 1/2 weeks now. Im going to give them at least another week or so of veg before 12/12.

Chlorine is indeed a naturally occurring element in water. It's possible to add in trace amounts but the likely hood of overdoing it is so high I wouldn't risk it. Just run normal non RO water and the instructions on page one as mentioned above and you'll be fine. I've had a bit of alge before but it typically clears up reletively quickly once they get growing.

Sup folks

I've converted to these here buckets from very much organic growing years back. So far things are going well. Quite different then what I'm used to. But interesting so far. I had committed to maxibloom as alone throughout the grow. Things were going well. Feeding every time about 4g per gal. Since deciding I will be getting a while I decided to scoop some dynagro. (Foliage pro and protekt). The rates are quite low with these guys at 1/4 teaspoon for maintenance. I did about half that last night to start. I am about 4 nodes into veg. It seemed like next to nothing. But I know the line is highly concentrated

To the point. I'm sure it's been posted. But I don't recall. Any of you guys using these dynagro products. And if so. What kinda rate/frequency. Mainly just curious and looking to boost my confidence here.

Thanks for any help!

I havent any experience with Dyna grow, Trich but a search of the threads here will surely answer your question. I know some peeps are mixing the the maxi and Dyna together.

Update on my GG4 cross testers.
Here they are today at about 5 weeks. Flipped them to 12/12 a day ago. FIM transformed most into nice bushes.

Some beautiful plants there Cap. Jealous of the strain!

FWIW i searched this thread and thoroughly googled.. both abroad and site specific. There is lots of info on dyna gro.. lots of praise.. but lots of folks using it with pro mix and soilless. I was just hoping someone would chime in with some starting points for usage with hempy.. specifically in re: to daily feeding rates. Until then, I will do what I do and probably learn on my own.

Sidebar. I wanted to share with you the buckets I chose to use.. I'll get some pics in action soon.

These buckets can be found at trader joes en mass. We go through dozens a day and though we sometimes send em back to the warehouse.. We generally just dispose of em.. I rounded up plenty in a day or two. I'm sure if you ask kindly your local Joes will hook you up. I know I would ;).

Though the buckets vary slightly... there are 4 general sizes. They are not the most rigid (not advisable to cary one handed) but are sturdy enough in my opinion. I am using the middle buckets which hold almost 2.5gal... and are about 10.25" diameter.. perfect for 16 in my 42" x 42" space. I would have liked to use the tall boys on the right as they are only a smidgen wider at the top but I'd guess hold upwards of 3+ Gal. They didn't fit by a few cm. the ones on the left are about as wide as the tall boys but are a bit more stout and hold a bit more than those I am using. The last size (not pictured) are a little more scarce and come with sunflowers... they are much sturdier... shorter and hold a bit more than a gallon but with the rim are as wide as those that I use.

As i said.. I use the middle size which come holding our 5.99 and 9.99 bouquets. (at least in my region)

Sorry.. I'm wordy, and this is nothing game changing.. but I like em.. and they are free.

Thanks for the tip on free buckets. I wouldn't sweat it too much on nutes. Are you using coco or vermiculite with the perlite? What is your medium exactly? If you're in coco then be on lookout for coco issues that occasionally pop up. Other than that just look at the plants and follow the directions on the bottle somewhat.
