i need to borrow some bamboo sticks!

Or even the whole plant actually
"The first silica available was from the herb horsetail which offers only 5-8% silica, whereas bamboo provides 70% silica"

Mmmm ..I wonder if there's a way of getting that silica work with the living soil

Thanks Xmob & Cootz, you guys rock! Can't wait to get this thing rolling, I feel like I've spent a small fortune....lol. Waiting for sul-po-mag, peat moss, yucca powder, & agsil 16 to come in the mail. Comfrey, horsetail, stinging nettles, barley & borage coming soon. Aloe & lavender grow in the yard.

Hopefully blumats will be here in a week or 2, had to order them from Germany. Planing to set up the icebox next week too. Bed construction will commence as soon as my next shipment comes in.

Got some dj short blueberry seeds waiting to be popped, wish I would have done more reaserch before I ordered, probably would have went with malawi. Just looking for that old blueberry I loved soo much when I was younger. Hopefully the Blackdog platnum Xlu will do these baby's right!

Hey guys, I'm interested to hear what your favorite land race sativas are, I'm defonately going to pick one up next to around. Hope thisnt too off topic, I'm new to forums.

Thanks fellas, you guys are excellent!

Thanks to Cootz for keepin some nice ladies around - unscathed by modern polyhybrid pollen chucking madness - props to the Swami for picking up the torch & starting work to continue these genetics for generations to come!!

Wow, I don't know what the socal kids would do with nugs from this cut? I'd cherish that one in my garden...

Ahhh living soil...it is when things reach this point that one gets reminded why we continue to use living soil.

Smoke-able samples from this crop are like "smoking dank air".....as JayKush used to say....and for crying out loud, how did I do this w/out a brix and ph meter.....hhhmmmm....I remain perplexed why I would ever need that shit again.

These smell so freaking sweet...as sweet or sweeter than any Blueberry in existence...and twice as sticky. Smells just like fall around here.....for being spring time.

And of course, the same praise could be said for this genetic wonder.

real quick one here. i've read about hydrating your peat before usage? if so, is there anything I could inoculate it with during its soak? aact and the likes.

i didn't hydrate my spm from ace this last round and aside from a few burnt tips here and there, it's the most beautiful thing i've laid my eyes on. welcome aboard blueberry. whats your status with earth worm castings, compost and all that fun stuff?

mr roseberry

i'm sure someone else has a more eloquent or informative answer, but i seem to remember CC saying even silica (or anything besides h20 really) was bad news for blumats.

no personal experience however so YMMV.
i just know i wouldn't try...

best,

Just top watering - I had some problems early in my Blumat experiences and went the straight water route.

Sunnydog has a thread that's been running for a few years which is a great resource - Blumat Auto Watering. He and others have really presented the best information that you'll find to set these devices to maximum effect.

Worth your time reviewing if you're interested.

and as far as too much agsil 16H- i am unsure if it becomes harmful or toxic at higher levels (anyone else chime in?) but there is diminishing returns using more of most anything than required.

just because some is good more is not always better in my experiences.

So whats the deal with the williams wonder - ya know for someone that doesn't know jack about the 'strain'.

She looks cool, a lot of 3 bladed leaves, some varieties in my garden tend to do that

Another ROLS gal, or maybe it was a 5gal no-till, hard to keep track of all the 5gal's around the place...

Should I stick any meters in her to make sure she's good 'n all? Wouldn't want anything but the best ya know....

MrSterling

I want yalls take. Some seedlings jump immediately from 1 blade leaves to 5 blades I've noticed, skipping 3 bladed entirely. Has anyone taken note of the resulting vigor or performance of these plants?

i wish i could quantify that w/ something more than 'sounds good'

i know sometimes w/ cuttings you get 3 leaved all the way through and some strains do that too

i dont know the association w/ vigor
