You know if you google Mills pride c24, Icmag comes up first on the search? Thats kind of crazy. My C24 has been put into early retirement. I used it for 1 harvest. was too much work for the herb it produces. But it is stealthy.

I agree with you on that. I had wanted to make my own box at first but found that it was not only too much work, but also it did not save enough mioney to be really worth it. Cant wait to see the c4 in action :canabis: Im pretty sure thats the one Im getting too. Best of lcuk with whatever you choose :)

Ive been slowly but surely piecing together my c-25 over the last few days. Im having a few issues that I havent seen addressed and im hoping you guys can help. <3

What are you guys using to keep the exhaust stealth looking? I dont want someone to be able to look into a gaping duct, what could i put over where the exhaust comes out? I dont want to buy another dark room louver to stop people from looking up in there. I think a standard dryer vent would look suspicious.

For my intake id have a couple 8" dark room louvers and the exhaust would be 6"s. Is that sufficient intake/exhaust? Its the c-25, 215cfm, 400w.

I plan on masking the noise with back ground noice from other appliances, but I would like to have some integrated sound protection to fall back on. Where is a good place to get acoustic foam or some other sort of damping material that works well for our application? I was thinking of building a duct muffler, insulating the outside of all the duct work and then lining the inside of the top of the cab above the light with it too, for the overkill. :) Id need a lot without breaking the bank.

Anyone else have problems getting their reflector to fit? Mine has the ducting built into it, but i couldnt get the ducting around the ducts and curve it upwards, its just too damn long. I snapped off the rivets and popped off the built in ducts on the ends. Its going to be a messy job. If I could do it again I would slice a couple inches off the ducts and take a chunk out of the reflector and slide the end opposing the socket inwards a little bit and just silicon the crap out of it. Id like to know what you guys did out of curiousity. Stupid reflector! LOLOLOL

I look forward to your suggestions. This is so exciting! :D

I have a few weeks before I can start growing so I have plenty of time to take care of this. I thought it would be safe to let the outdoor season finish before breaking any more laws.

Should have some pics when its all said and done.

Now at week 3 of flower. I think I have been doing my watering all wrong. I am going to allow longer drying time between waterings from now on (not used to coco compared to the quick drain soiless I used before) and when I DO water I will completely saturate it until I see water coming out the bottom (also using a lighter PPM of nutrients) hopefully they can grow some deeper roots. Alright some new pics:

Comments/Suggestions welcome! :pointlaug

**I came up with a great idea after I built mine :frown: Just get a hole saw or use a saber saw if you prefer and put a hole in the top to fit the exhaust. The top is 6' so no one can easily see up top. Then to make it even more stealthy put a rubbermaid or something on top with a duct hole in the bottom and vent holes the top. It will just look like a rubbermaid on top of the cab.

For my intake id have a couple 8" dark room louvers and the exhaust would be 6"s. Is that sufficient intake/exhaust? Its the c-25, 215cfm, 400w.

**Seems fine.

**Well music stores have sound proofing stuff but it's costly so most likely the best bet is Home Depot, Lowes, etc. I've heard of people use foam, spray insulation foam, insulation material, rubber pads from floors, etc. Search for good sound proofing materials.

Anyone else have problems getting their reflector to fit?

**Yeah the cab is a little small and akward to get a reflector in. I use a cool tube which fits fine but it's smaller and lighter than a reflector.

I achieve stealth by first putting my scrubber at the end of my ventilation duct and pushing through it. This acts as a muffler. I passively exhaust out some holes.. you can further silence your fan by building an enclosure to block mechanical noise from the fan.

Im a total newb so I was wondering at how many nodes or at what height exactly do you guys flip the lights in your c25s?

Im also kind of worried about when i switch to flower. I could go to 12/12 in one gallon buckets and then when i know which are females, transplant them into 3 gallons. I was wondering if thats safe on the plant. I dont want hermies, i bought some vitamin b to help reduce stress.

I thought about waiting for them to show their sex in veg, but i was worried that might take so long that theyd overgrow the cab. They are c99 and a11.

Is it possible to take a cutting and have it show it sex before the donor plants are already too big for the cab?

It will be a lot easier the second grow since id have a mother plant. :)
