Hi Vermontman! Your Oaxacan sounds great! Do the leaves get thinner as they get older or is that a misconception that "sativas" all have skinny leaves? Have you ever grown the Skull inside?

Can I assume you are growing them outdoors and therefore not able to force flower by shortening the light cycle? They look super healthy and I made the right choice sending them your way Amigo.Saludos

well sadly there wasn't a true male for a normal repro. There was a very early Oaxaca79 pheno which hermed pretty early, i have used this pollen to dust some pre flowers, the Oaxaca79xOaxaca plant you can see on the Picture already is a clone, but the original seedplants are still alive.
The other Plants must be dominant to the other Oaxaca side, very long flowering ones which are not flowering on the normal 12/12 indoor light cycle, just enough pistils to tell what sex they're and make some seeds on their preflowers.
The Problem is, my room mate who is the owner of the apartment and equipment not let me change the light cycle to 11/13, already had some beef about this with him.
Here are the Seeds i was able to produce with the hermie, i thought it would be better as nothing. I can send all of them your Way if you wan't them!
Now i have different possibilities.
1. using STS on the best girls (the one i always showing is the best looking and most vigorous one).
2. using a male of Vermontmans Oaxaca79Skull
3. using a Mextiza F2 male (have a little over 20 Seeds)
I'll build a little LED flowering chamber to let the Oaxaca79xOaxaca flower. Our normal flowering chamber is just for hybrids normally, and u just placed the Oaxaca79xOaxaca to this plants as there wasn't a other option till now. Normally i would be homeless right now, my room mate just let me sleep in his little apartment. Im growing for him, cause he has a black thumb.

Not much to show atm, but the Oaxaca79xOaxaca mother i have is still alive and healthy. I know it maybe sounds stupid, but haven't let her flower till now, but hopefully soon so i can show how the flower structure is looking. But really like her look even in VEG, she is standing more in the corner atm, so not get that much light and is stretching a bit. Under strong light she really has tight internodes. Can produce a huge amount of clones in a short time, very nice mother plant in my Eyes.

I found this ACE Honduras as close to quality old time Mexican as any I have smoked.
I have a few Zacatecas and one Lime Green starting. These are modern Mexican strains and have been crossed to indica sadly. Still, they offer good highs if picked early.

On the subject of landraces, I sure wish I could find some Michoacan that is for real. There has to be someone who held seed when the paraquat was being sprayed. Every time I look the strains I find are hybrid with something.
I smoked some in the '60s and it was the most psychedelic stuff I have ever had.

Just a note of clarification, Oaxaca79skull is a hybrid of Oaxacan(Vermontman)XHawaiian Sativa(Federation) backcrossed into itself
