Amazing thread! Thanks to everybody who is contributing, this was a lot of fun to read!
I don't have a lot of experience with mexican genetics, but the little i have seen i really enjoyed

Chiapas people are known as resistant and very attached to their roots Maya. They probably try to keep and protect their greens, natural and human wealth and cultural identity!
Here is their rebel vibes!

Could someone translate this to Spanish?
"Hola Blank-l-for, you got green thumbs and grow lots of exotic varieties of cannabis very well. What are your favorite varieties for the best high? I spent much of the 1970's high on Colombian and Mexican, that's what I like. My all-time favorite is 1973 Maui Wowie, in mid-flower it smelled like a pine forest after a spring rain. I'd guess 1973 Maui Wowie genetics were Mexcian dominate, perhaps Mexican Red Hair ~ (Oaxacan x Punto Rojo)."
Roms, Mexican and Colombian pure sativa NLD seed size is the same today as they were in the early 1970's.
Pure sativas should yield seeds all the same size. Mature seeds from small mature buds on lower branches will be smaller than mature seeds from the tops. Same variety, mature seeds from a small indoor plant will be 15% smaller than seeds from a 20 foot plant grow in the tropics.
SamS noted seed / calyx size was relative to the calyx size of the female flowers. Does this imply that an open pollination of several NLD and WLD Mango Haze female phenotypes results in small seeds being NLD dominate and bigger seeds are WLD dominate? Probably so, however if you select and pollinate only one Mango Haze female seed size should be uniform, with slight seed size variation based on slight variations in calyx size within the plant - top to bottom.
I smoke the tops and seed a couple of bottom branches with pollen on an artist paint brush. I observe, seed size is uniform, (but color and markings are different) from a NLD sativa female pollinated with different males.
Caveat, I've never seen an indica seed. Indica / sativa hybrids like NepJam - Highland Nepalese x 1985 Jamaican Blue Mountain have bigger seeds than NLD sativa seeds.
Blan-K-Flor speaks english too... just saying lol.

This is a main bud just off the Jarilla plant, no cure yet. Very little weight to these buds, typical sativa structure.
So far i've been not really lucky with my last oaxacan ibl beans, but at least i save one!
Yeah, when i think about it, i think you damn right! It's more of a "mexican kush" nowaday
I'm curious about chiapas, and how hybridization have affected this region!
