Mexican varieties.

1. Acapulco Gold or Golden Guerrero - Guerrero, Mex.
2. Highland Oaxaca Gold - Oaxaca
3. Acapulco Red - Guerrero
4. Green Guerrero - Guerrero
5. Michoacán - Michoacan
6. Red Oaxaca -Oaxaca,
7. Red Hair - Michoacan, Oaxaca and Sinaloa
8. Torreon Violet / Purple - Coahuila .
9. Zacatecas Purple - Zacatecas ( purple buds)
10. Purple-Zihuatanejo -- Guerrero (completely purple)
11. Zorrilla - Zacatecas (sativa very odorous)

13.- Big Sur Holy - (California x Zacatecas Purple)

Whether it is a "known" Mexican variety or not, my friend was gifted some few dozen old Sinaloan Highland Gold seeds from a neighbor who hails from that region. After much toil, he finally has one in healthy vegetative growth. Cuts soon forthcoming my direction.

Mexican varieties

Mexican varieties

Variedades Mexicanas.

1.-Acapulco Gold o Guerrero Golden, Guerrero, Méx.
11.-Michoacana, Michoacán (suelen encontrar fenotipos sativos e indicos)
25.-Zihuatanejo Purple, Zihuatanejo Purpura o Morada, Guerrero (sativa completamente morada)

Nice list, i'm happy to see "chiapas" related!

Got some chiapas seeds, with no specific name. But they are just the biggest seeds i ever seen. Apparently their med potential is just magical from the guy who gave them to me!

But i also heard of little muslim community down there.

I acquired an Acapulco Gold clone through Harborside. Does anyone know the origins of this cut? I emailed my query to Harborside, but got no response. Any help is appreciated. It's a vigorous grower for sure. I currently have it in flower ready to be seeded by an Uncle Fester's Skunk #18 IBL now.

Nierika Seed Trust Yunnan sativa and Acapulco Gold, Norstar Zapotec- Oaxacan x Colombian Gold, Oregon Green Seeds Oaxaca x Iranian and Nepalese Rocket or Nepalese Highland, CBG Mangobiche, CBG Jarilla, Eskobar Oaxacan and Jalisco.

Have the Jarilla, Oaxacan and Jalisco in flower now. About 2 months to go. I wanted straight Mexicans but settled for some hybrids as well. The Nepalese is supposed to more euphoric than tripped out.SAM_0591.jpg
