Getting started with a few different Mexican lines. Just sowed some Guerrero, Oaxacan, Oaxacan x Peru and Mextiza into pots. Should get interesting!

A more recent picture of Oaxacan:

A picture of a Oaxacan and Thai leaning Haze, after I polluted it with Hawaiian Haze and Burmese genetics. This explains its fat leaves. It still maintained it's "Gold" color. After each outcross, I backcrossed to the same Oaxacan Gold/Thai leaning individual:

When I find a plant with half the potency/quality or better, I'll sprout those seeds and make the next generation. I've been waiting 10 years! I hope the pure Oaxacan above is "it"! I may have run out of time already. I hope those seeds sprout.

Wow, just wow, nothing else I can say, beautiful bushy plant you got there.

Hrpuffnkush's dad was a member of boel (if memory serves correctly) so he should know .

boel was a very big deal in "the day".

lots of sources of imported non-mexican strains down into mexico. quite a few stories of south american drug operations directly sourcing their own seeds for adam/mex hybrids.

also, down in south america the cannabis grown down there can end up all over the place including other south american countries.

Yay, all of them sprouted! The first one being mextiza as expected, and the last one guerrero just today. The guerrero seeds are a few years old, I lost the bag three years ago and found it this year very close to where I left it..

From page 6.

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"they come from a ranch about 30min south of taxco... a silver town in guerrero.. they have skinnier leaves but not as skinny as thais or some of the oaxacans posted here..they seem to be very stable with mostly all plants similiar structure.. tall main branch with smaller side branches,,, i smoked some of the dried weed and it was a super mellow smoke kinda like taking a valium but not sleepy at all...i wouldn't say trippy but for sure got you thinking about life and whatnot...very good.... farmer said they cut late october but some some don't get cut till early november...i don't know if that is because of a differance of the actual time needed to ripen or because the field of pot was atleast a hectare and it just took a few weeks from start to finish..."

I bought a camera, I bought new batteries, I took pictures, I found the lost USB cable.. and the cable was the wrong size. :noway: So no pictures yet :D

Pepe,

That plant is simply beautiful. I'd love see what she looks like when ripe, and to hear a smoke report.

Nice Work,

For sure TB.

While we wait for this lady (as often with the ladies :d ) here are a few pics of her faster (and hermies) sisters. It's dried buds from 3 individuals, none was ready for harvest cause they've been culled as soon as they shown too much nanners.I don't bother for a few seeds but i would if a few hundreds...
Smells like mex too, very spicy but not in a pepper way, more like a mix of ginger and curry. Some do appears somewhat golden.
