I’m starting to think having basically null cbd gives cold effects idk.
I don't believe that is the case. It is much more complex. A lot of what we refer to as sativa, or NLD has virtually no CBD, yet the high's can be as diverse as paranoid, cold, euphoric, happy, focused, energetic, relaxed, meditative, etc. It is not simple. Traditional varieties that contain CBD also have fairly diverse highs, although CBD also has a relaxing quality. However when I was young we avoided what we assumed was CBD varieties because it would put us to sleep. None of us were chasing a "cold" high. We wanted euphoric and trippy.

You might be interested in this article from Angus (TRSC). I'll just quote a few bits, but worth reading the whole thing.

But even back in the ’60s and ’70s, an era in which we are told cannabis was a more innocent and far gentler plant, there was plenty of imported pot in which CBD was often more or less absent and THC levels could be very high. Typically, this took the form either of refined cannabis oil or—more usually—of high quality ganja, meaning cured unseeded or lightly seeded flowering tops from the tropics and subtropics.

In Thailand, Malawi, or regions such as South India, the strains of cannabis that have been grown for centuries to produce ganja most often have little or no CBD and can even exhibit levels of THC comparable to those of so-called ‘skunk’. Back in the hippie heyday, such pot was given informal underground brands like Thai Stick, Swazi Red, or Colombian Gold.

However, the cumulative effect over generations of traditional ganja farming can result in very strong cannabis that’s often in any meaninful sense devoid of CBD. Analysis of samples from tropical India indicates that CBD is typically absent—even in some of the milder Bengali strains. This was the case in the ’60s and remains so today.

Aromas/Flav definitely stimulate our brain. Some are considered to be psychoactive because they affect the brain. While terpenes aren't intoxicating on their own, they may impact the effects of THC, the cannabinoid responsible for the high feeling from cannabis. Until all the roadblocks are removed for testing cannabis terpenes/cannabinoids we will never know..

My fav pheno from the THH X P41 test...

I wonder what effect the esters and thiols have in combination.. also the other compounds that we haven't even learned about yet.
the artificial grape ester is very common in canna, and then they say the skunkiness is caused by thiols.. what else is out there?

Here's my haze cross. I'm out of sativa bud, and had a couple requests, so I threw this one in the closet.
I can't find my notes, but I believe this is the green pheno.
OHaze x (PurpAl x (PurpAl x Quantum Kush))
I only ran three girls, 1 green and 2 purples. The purple color was the only trait that was taken from the PurpAl line... It's all sativa

PurpAl is a unknown bagseed from a green bud with purple spots. I popped her 6 years ago in May.
it was purple and I was given the seed from my buddy "AL" and I named it.
Super indica and squat with no internodal spacing. So I figured the haze might open her up a bit .. but they turned out all haze.
