I just got 5 jars off 2 of the AG "lowers". Who says the main colas are all action? Do you think another net will be needed to finish training to even the canopy?
I used one net to pull the plant over (waited too long), and another net to make the canopy. Luckily it stopped stretching and I have room under the lights..

This 1st HK X THH is looking sooooo good. Has a skunky aroma with something else that I cant figure out yet. I popped a few more seeds to see what else shows up.

OOPS, I forgot about this pheno.. This is the one with the odd leaves and grows new branches from nodes were we usually find calyxes. No sex showing yet but i think its a female.

Some will say 11 on, 13 off. Some say it doesn't matter. Going with less on time won't hurt anything.
I always run 12/12 now. If you get to 12 weeks and the still arent done then you can start to dial. Dubi recommends something similar. I have seen slower growth when you dial down considereably which actually ended up taking longer than if it had gone 12/12 probably strain dependent a bit. Just my limited experience though.

The 11/13 is only necessary for some extreme NLD selections of pure OH. And may be their expressions in hybrids. All the other OH's should do fine under 12/12. Even with 13h lights on, or so. According to Tom Hill.
I would say if not stated differently by the breeder, you can go with 12/12 without any problem.
But myself use only 11/13 since it is required for the kind of Hazes I work with. And I do not see any difference on the BLD plants compared to growing them 12/12.

Yeah my tent is strictly 11/13.
I have noticed the same for me. If I start out at less than 11/13 it seems to delay maturation and only gets worse the more you go in that direction with less light. May be strain dependent but I am noticing it with EVERYTHING. Seems maybe better the start out at 12/12 or 11/13 and then start to trim it down later in the run.

I was thinking at doing the opposite with plants that do require 11/13.
Keeping under 11/13 until they really are flowering, then switch to 12/12.
Problem is when those kind of plants are in that intermediate stage between veg and flowering under 12/12, they do unnecessary strech a lot, more than tey would under 11/13.
And strtech is an issue when you grow true Hazes indoors.
But is off topic, as 11/13 is not required on 99% of the Haze hybrids

I cant do 11/13 with so many different varieties flowering at the same time. I've not noticed anything abnormal using 12/12 with Haze/NLD. Once I get the 5x5 up I try different lighting schedules and see if there are any effects.

It was the only thing that would finish my mango Thai. I think it would be the same with the Mango Thai X OTH too. But I've just set it on 11/13 and forgot about it. I've could maybe get some better yield but I grow so many things that it's not important. Quality is what matters personally. Glad to help CannaRed
