hey mendo no need for supp light on those? i have a few giant seedlings i want to put out....i know the clones will def need supp lighting.

mr sterling dont worry too much about the light..some strains do better with less like the cherry pie. my spot doesnt have the most ideal light but cherry pie and blue dream still do very well...the OG kush varieties not so much however. of course its nice to have the perfect light and get 8lbers but if you can put 4-5 from the low light thats still nothing to be mad about. i did have to cut some trees down myself though...

im still looking for opinions on how to treat some 200s that had root rot/wilt from last year....the cover crops that are in those pots look fine and healthy. i was gonna upend them and use fresh soil but now im tempted to just soak with the worm juice and amend some mykos and try another run in them. only 3 pots had that issue last year, mostly from over watering.

Seedlings are less likely to bud this time of year. I don't do clones. They were under supplemental light for the last few weeks. no supplemental light needed at this point. Its GO time! or chop time!

I have selected replacement plants, if any bud on me I'll swap them out.

Seedlings that show the slightest pre-flowering wont get planted. I've pulled about 10 of them.

All the hard work feels so good when a plan comes together.
And my plan is shaping up nicely!

Get those giant seedlings in the ground!

Is it just me, or are people really stepping their games up? Everybody that I have been waiting to throw up a thread on their grows have stunned me. Seems a couple grades above last year from my point of view. Great job everybody, ICmag outdoor growers are the best on the globe.
I couldn't agree more. So many great growers who are so open with there knowledge. All I can say is :thank you: to everyone who contributes.

I would love to touch on this a little more. I get that clones are best if held inside until June, June 15ish.(or sup lighting) However I was under the imprecision if seeds were started outdoors they shouldn't flower this time of year unless weather (cloudy days) plays a factor.

I also start many extra seeds, and pick from the best. However, once selected I don't usually keep the back ups. Last year 2 of my 12 plants flowered early and hurt yields bad. This year, of the two plants that have made it in their final pots, one is starting to flower. Since I had this problem last year, I made super sure that I did all I could correctly when it comes to hours of light. I built a hoop house to ensure this, however I did start some seeds inside as well, but those were on a light schedule that matched May 1st light schedule in my area. (sun up to sun down times, plus 45 min due to twilight and sunrise)

So I guess my question is, do a percentage of plants grown from seed flower early in the season naturally no matter what? Secondly, if so, what would be a guess on the percentage? From my last couple outdoor grows, I want to say that yes a percentage flowers, and I give that percentage 10-15%.

I guess what time of year the seeds were sprouted would be a factor as well. The percentage seems to be higher if the seeds were started in March. My April starts I don't seem to notice this as a problem. Maturity plays a role I am sure.

Thanks everybody :tiphat:.

If only the top third was stunted in bud size and overall health it is probably what soybean growers call white mold and in the big green book its called hemp canker.

Cut your bags rototill what youve got there down and pile new stuff on top and treat with one of the biofungicides listed in the big green book if u can acquire them, some require special permits to purchase in Commiefornia

Regretfully mycostop does nothing against it..:(

MGS hort now has PreStop on another note.

Do you know what plant the bg you measured was mixed at? I know it varies by region..

Well...near as I can tell it is from Georgia. It is not listed on the bag where it comes from. I twisted the arm of the place where I get it and made them call their distributor. More hemming and hawing...fuckin assholes.

Not 100% sure about this cause no one wanted to be involved really.

If I were gonna keep using it I would get a test

What Ive learned about my spot this year is that no matter how good I think the spring weather is to put things out early/dep, unless I have a steel framed greenhouse its just not worth the headache when the gale forced winds come in and destroy everything.

I'm nowhere near the talent that lurks these pages but here's my passion......last years plot (after harvest ) ..........
This is a row of cheese x bubba and royala guavella, of course these are only a 1/8 to 1/4 the size of most here on this thread! ...........
Homemade greenhouse I won't ever do again, will purchase 1 next time, and 2nd pic is 1 of 3 beds , 4x20 each
And lastly my plot in progress 12 in 2 rows and rest in 100 gallon placed on mounds, total 36 ladies.
