You all wanna wake up call? Well here's a wake up call for you. We live in the age of the beige dictatorship. Both parties are just two turds on the same shit pile. Party politics ONLY works for the party. It's all about power; gaining it, maintaining it and re-attaining it after losing it. You only matter when they come sucking up for your vote. After that the only people they listen to are the govt's flavors of the month and big money lobbyists. You don't matter until the next election cycle.
Think about this. The people that caused businesses to shut down, cost people their jobs and made life substantially more expensive in just 2 short years are going to be asking you to vote for them again so THEY can keep THEIR cushy, trough slopping, insider trading jobs. They expect you to do with less while they take more and more and more.
And ya know what? This is happening all over the Western World and I don't see any way we're going to be able to vote ourselves out of it.
In Canada the Liberal govt has gone rogue passing laws with no Parliamentary debate. And after being handed a minority govt for the second time the PM then said "fuck you" to the voters and weaseled himself an ersatz majority govt anyway. And now we actually have political prisoners, in friggin' Canada of all places.
