the political scale should not be discarded lol it maintains political objectivity (ie - its a good tool to show how a country/group/party/person's politics can drift one way without anyone ever realizing it).
the X axis (the left/right line) is ALWAYS referring to economic. the Y axis is social (up/down - libertarian/authoritarian line). fascism is the extreme right both socially and economically.
black nationalism/pan-africanism isn't something i know much about. some of the founders of that movement (stokley carmichael and w.e.b dubois i know of for instance) are socialists.
workers rights are a labor/economic issue which is traditionally a left wing issue that the right pretends to care about but never does anything about.
refusing bill gates' sperm is a social issue not a left/right issue.
