the political scale should not be discarded lol it maintains political objectivity (ie - its a good tool to show how a country/group/party/person's politics can drift one way without anyone ever realizing it).

the X axis (the left/right line) is ALWAYS referring to economic. the Y axis is social (up/down - libertarian/authoritarian line). fascism is the extreme right both socially and economically.

black nationalism/pan-africanism isn't something i know much about. some of the founders of that movement (stokley carmichael and w.e.b dubois i know of for instance) are socialists.

workers rights are a labor/economic issue which is traditionally a left wing issue that the right pretends to care about but never does anything about.

Here's an example of the failure of gun laws. Illinois has some of the toughest restrictions and games that need to be played to enjoy our shall not be infringed right. But still in the Chicago area with the rampant gun crimes the laws did no good. And they keep blaming Indiana's lax gun laws.

The state of Illinois has a lot of gun control laws. One of the most onerous, at least in my opinion, is the requirement to have a FOID before purchasing a firearm.

We’re told such laws actually reduce criminals getting guns, particularly due to straw buys. After all, if you have an owner’s permit, you’ve been doubly checked or something.

Honestly, it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me.

What I do know is that FOID requirements sure didn’t stop this guy.

A 34-year-old Dolton man faces federal charges after allegedly buying 27 handguns under his own name, but then giving them to another person.

Matthew Jamaal Johnson was charged with 12 counts of making false statements, with each charge punishable by up to 10 years in prison, according to a federal indictment.

Activist Pamela Moses said it was the fault of elections officials and others that she was not told when she signed up to vote in 2019 that a previous felony conviction meant she had been permanently barred from voting.

“This case is one about the disparity in sentencing and punishment — and one that shouldn’t have happened,” her attorney, Bede Anyanwu, told the Washington Post. Anyanwu said Moses will appeal, adding, “It’s all very, very disturbing.”

Ever been on a capitol tour? Of course you haven't. If you ever were you would realize the "capitol tour" is very limited where one can go. I was lucky to go on a capitol tour 5 years ago. When it was over we got a private tour of the capitol. Even then the person we were with couldn't take us every where he was hoping. He knew every cop by name. The virutual tours once again are limited viewing of the capitol. I'm glad your fellow red hat terrorist's didn't have a layout to the capitol.
