figured this was probably the best place to notify Oregonians. A hemp farm was just approved less than 10 minutes from my house and as the crow flies, its just a few miles.

what's even more fucked, is the bitch that got the permit is a fucking county commissioner that has been hating on herb since the get go. I literally think she might have done this to sabotage growers...her husband is one of the highest paid physicians in our county..why would they need the $...

Where in Oregon?

Hemp = thousands of male plants. Myself and my friends that live much closer than I are worried about cross pollination.

I live about 3 miles from that hemp farm. Im beyond pissed.

Hey I never suggested he do it I was just wondering if he thought about it. And the only reason I brought it up was because he made it seem like it was some evil/wealthy politician planting hemp to intentionally ruin sensi growers crops. I would never recommend ruining someone else's hard work for your own gain lol

I'm not going to be that guy. I'm hoping the backside of my hill has enough trees to filter out the majority of traveling pollen, but that's wishful thinking I suppose. Hopefully enough of us local growers can manage to push them out if we continue to give em hell.

Hi Epic! How is the garden coming along?

things are going pretty well. I have some concerns that my soil wasn't mixed properly, but Im going to send out some more soil samples before I start pointing any fingers. I'd say 80% of the plants are loving life, but the other 20% are struggling despite a replant with different genetics. Were trying some foliars including a cal carb to try and fix whatevers going on. The first soil lab lost my samples so I'm running blind which sucks.

Yea man you know how it is. Im on IG a lot more than Im here these days. Seems like all the good threads are filled with novice "experts" trolling for a soap box to preach from. Still some great people, but lately Im a little burnt out with IC. But I'll do my best to update more so we growers can learn from eachother's experiences. The good, the bad, and the oh so very ugly!
