which ones look bad? just because they are smaller or are there other issues. having a few pop up in my garden as well but i mostly chalk it up to all the stressed out older replants. everything new from seed/clone looks much better. also I've noticed that a big group of 45 gal bushes that i have in the shade prepping for light dep, look WAY better and grow faster than any of the plants baking in the 90-100 degree sun right now. I'm growing at a lower elevation, hotter climate right now than last year and theres a definite difference.

do you set the cages on top of the dripline? I put my cages in first because i didn't want to crush the tubing, but byf said it would be pain to snake the dripline through the cages and i should have put the dripline in before the cages.

Yea I think that's another reason plants thrive in a greenhouse. I'll get some closenup pics up later of the plants I'm worried about. The worst of the bunch ar E my chem 4, which traditional is my workhorse. New climate, new property, and new soil is making for a challenging year. The only new things that are kicking ass are the two strains from south fork seeds: Kayas dream and Sirius. Hands down my biggest healthiest plants. Clones from seed moms.

The guys started at the center with a short piece and spiraled outward weaving it through the cage. It took a little effort, but I didn't want my line to crimp later in the season from the weight of a bignplant. It would block water to the rootball.

Girls are tufting out well! This is super veg. phase. Every day counts. Hope you get that problem figured out. What is Chem 4? is that related to chemdog?

Have to take your time and do things right on the farm. A dozen pinched drip lines would be bad. Happy plants mean happy growers.

Have a good weekend!

Is that landscape weed barrier fabric around the plants or is that root trapping smart pot material? Keep up the green work, my friend! :)

Will you add straw or hey or what ever people use to cool down top layer soil temps? It looks pretty exposed to dry out quicker, im sure it will shade itself sooner or later... Looks awesome as always though sir

Everything looks so magical Epic!
Your property is so awesome. Do you do much exploring the mountains around your farm?
I think your water drip system with the spiraling hoses in the pots is a really terrific way to water. Your plants absolutely LOVE It cuz they look smoking HOT! awesome totally awesome garden. I cant believe my eyes it looks so fantastic.

Thanks, i probably wont add straw this year. I like to keep my eye on my drip rings to make sure they are function properly. Maybe next year I'll put some mulch down first. Thinking about alfalfa straw.

No problem at all. You're garden looks great. I love the look of cedar boxes, but personally my plan is to end up in 1600 gallons of dirt instead of my 800's. Right now I'm giving my plants about 47 gallons every other day.

Thanks! I almost hate looking at them before august. They seem to grow so slowly. My property includes the ridges so we don't have to go far for some amazing views. But I have just recently started exploring oregon, and so far I'm really impressed with the natural beauty.

Recovering chem 4

Healthy chem 4

This is a good example of what was going on. I hit them with cal carb foliar, nutrient/ bacteria foliar, a heavy feeding of age old grow, and then a couple fish/kelp based no brew teas. So far so good, seems like my year one soil wasn't hot enough. Really should have been feeding hard from plant day forward.
