gardens looking great, looks like oregons treating you real well!

super interested to see this cable mounted trellis system, sounds like a good idea.

If it works ill save thousands on bamboo and zip ties. Were a little behind schedule, but with a little luck it should be up next week. Looking to auger out some post holes today!

Well my trellis system just got thrown out the window. After battling for 1/2 a day trying to fit a bobcat between my pots and around my irrigation, I'm going back to remesh wire and 12' t posts. I'm not abandoning the idea all together, but it seems like I needed to build my support prior to planting, which on a year one property was a luxury my limited time would not afford.

Based on new legislation, 1/2 my pots need to be moved on a different tax lot anyway. So I guess I was going to have to remove it anyway. You win some, you lose some

Long thin wooden stakes x 3 pounded into the ground around plants with a ladder and sledge wrapped with masonry line is a cheap and decently strong way to support the girls. T posts seems like it would add up fast.

48 plant max per property. They were gonna carry some grandfather law where if you had more plants than that registered at your site on 1-1-15, you could continue growing that amount. But it had to be like the same identical patient you had on jan 1st and if you lost them you couldnt replace them. Pretty much trying to put a 48 plant cap.

Does the 48 plant max require a certain amount of acreage? How many patients are you supposed to have to do all 48?

Oregon is nice, I've talked to quite a few people here in CA that are thinking about heading up that way.

Is real estate / acreage cheaper up there?

any links to this new legislation? I am unaware of this 48 plant count.

Outdoor? Warehouse? city limits or farm land?

Horse: Google Ommp measure 91 2016 or something along the lines of that and it'll pop up.

48 plants, 6 plants per patient, no acerage limit, property is sought after here, dont move here.

Im kinda kidding about the last part but not really. Theres so many people moving here its nuts.

How often do you think they will check? My old spot and this years are in Multnomah Co and I've never had anyone even visit.

I was under the impression that the aspect on plant limits pertained to growers, not the property itself. U are allowed to have 2 cards under the new law, or 3-4 if u were registered before January of this year. Properties are limited to 48 plants, unless 3 or 4 growers who were registered previously, allowed 24 plants each, grew on the same property, and then the limit can be raised to whatever they were allowed before january.. am I wrong? I veg read the actual bill several times. The real drag is the new reporting requirments... and if/when it passes, it doesn't go into effect until march 2016, so Cep, they won't be doing checks until at least that date.

There are actually 2 positive aspects of the bill, one is they are raising the amount of processed marijuana u are allowed to possess to something like 6 lbs per plant u grow indoors, and I think 12 outdoors. I read this about a month ago, so they could have changed it since then, and i may have reasily that wrong too. They are also changing the defenition of an veg plant to any plant that is not flowering, as opposed to how it is now, where the plant has to be under 12" tall, or it goes against ur flowering plant total...

Ive been doing 72 plants for years and never been checked.

I dont think with the new system theyre gonna be anymore gnarly about compliance checks. Its a lost cause.

And pretty much they were trying to kill ommp at first when they started voting on how to change it but every weed activist came screaming out of the wood-work. They originally wanted a 12 plant max for any property.
