thanks A_s, things are really filling in, most of the room has a dense (18"+) canopy, except for a few smaler gorilla glues in one area...
towards the end of week 2 i plan on going in and thinning out some smaller shit branches inside the plants that get no lite (I mean, NO light, the canopy is hella dense in some areas). Been staking and tying still, trying to keep things under control early, might consider a trellis net again in the future.

Foliar feeds have been alternating neem/essential oils/pest prevention and foliar feeds with aloe, kelp, fermented fruit extracts and homemade cal-phos. I've used both my toasted eggshells extracted with vinegar calphos & lactobacillus fermented freshwater clamshells.
(I think) I'm walking a fine line of over spraying, can see some lower leaves not liking the sprays as much, but this area of the plant i plan on cleaning up anyhow, the canopy is loving it, stems are getting thicker still, not just stretching. especially the lime cookies bubba is thickening stems while stretching, maybe has hollow stems, they are so large and grew up so quickly.

The largest plant in the flowering room is a dieselrella x ogkush from seed... really have high hopes for it, all plants from this seed stock have been high yielding and quick finishing, and smoked nice as well. right next to it is another large plant from seed, a g13 x bubblegum, seed stock was similarly promising when first run.

The one tray packed full of buddha's sister has a nice even canopy, all the same height, wish i could say the same for the rest of the room.... not TOO much difference, but it is VERY FAR from a flat canopy. I may consider vertical bare bulbs for LARGE plants in flowering in the future.

I've been wanting to run some SoHum CBD gear. I'll be on the look out to see how those go.

4 yummy in flower right now, man they were finicky lil bitches. They don't like to feed much at all, kept burning them.

I spent a lot of time talking to the Sohum growers at the Emerald and HT cups, grabbed a bunch of their CBD line up. They really put in work into their cbd line.

empty the cloner, fill the cloner
still itching to pop them beans....

Canopy is blowing up still, full on stretch. Just now starting to really clean up the under-larf.
If i could do it again, I'd set this room up with vertical bare bulbs for the Bigass trees, maybe use thee 2 big parabolic reflectors hung horizontally over the entire room in addition to the vert bulbs.

collected a bunch of lava rock (black and red) on a lil exploration into the canyons yesterday, will mix them into the mulch layer, lil trick i learned from seaf0ur.
I saw some nice boulders (manageable to haul home) and crush them into nice small pieces and mix into my soil for aeration and mineral content (dust). might even consider doing a lactobacillus fermentation on the lava rock dust...

welcome headyblunts

been spraying cal-phos regularly, with fermented fruit extracts. also been foliar feeding aloe, mint, and coconut water & silica
roots have been drinking silica, kelp meal, fermented plant extract (mostly fan leaf ferment right now, keeping the "veg nutes" on them until budset begins) and cal-phos

I just re-read this thread, looking at past pictures primarily from last run. At this time last round i was correcting yellowing leaves with bloodmeal scratched into soil surface and mg foliar fed and root fed. this time around there is NO yellowing, nothing really looking like it needs correcting... which is very encouraging. Perhaps some plants could use a tad of mg as i am seeing some of the very lowest leaves in the canopy just slightly yellowing in between leaf veins. also could be slightly low on K...

haven't "installed" my collected lava rocks yet... but I did "transplant" some worms from the veggie garden soil outside into my soil beds, hopefully they take to their new home well.

day 19

day 19

all pics taken from a ladder, no other way to get above the canopy

^^ Buddha's sister canopy

picture.php

^^ Cookies canopy

picture.php

^^ bottom right is buddhas sister, bottom left is Canna-tsu, top super tall plant is twista (up to and nearly above the rail) going out of the picture
this pic gives an idea of scale, this room has 10 ft tall ceilings, you can see in this pic the canopy is up to the garage door rail, about 18-20 inches from the ceiling. dunno how much more stretch this room can take... hopefully we have see the worst of it....

^^ Canna-Tsu (cbd strain) in 65 gallon fabric pot.

^ a lil fungi poking up thru the mulch. (and some diatomaceous earth nearby, hopefully to control gnats)

^^ One of the mega fan leaves off the LCB plant that has (more than) tripled in height since being flipped into flower, even outstretched the ravnus right next to it that shot up first. the LCB is making lots of BIG ass fan leaves, definitely some hollow stems on her also.

picture.php

also, wondering if anyone could help me "diagnose" what's going on with these leaves? perhaps it's just that they are older leaves, been knocked around in the wind from fans and from being sprayed with the atomizer... perhaps something else?

I thought you dropped buddahs sis?

I did... good flavor, just wasnt my style...

nope, not yet, it's on it's way out (not as fast as the pura vida, tho)
people love the buddha's sister stank, and it's good for "anxiety" so I'm told.
perhaps the twista will replace it, similar durban-y trainwreck-y smell, sativa leaf structure. twista is certainly more vigorous this round...

Looks like what I call "wind burn". I started to get it once I moved here. I believe it is from the fans and the extremely dry air. Never happened to me in the South.

Were these leaves close to a fan?
