Went and bought some nice 27L(10G) waste baskets the other day. They are perfect because they are deep rather than wide and I can fit my plants much closer under the lamp to intensify the light. They got the transplant today.
Well...there's no denying it...she's a lady. We'll call her Tangerine-a. She got the black bucket:

Tangerine-b is still not showing. I'm being patient. 10 days seems a little long to show sex, but I've never induced flowering on a plant this early before either. I transplanted it anyways, it got the silver bucket:
^ ?? still can't see anything. Should be a good thing. I'd say things are in my favour.
^^ An overall look at the plant. It likes nutes, I'm still unsure as how much to give it. Getting used to their likes and dislikes still.
Tommorrow I will take some clippings. I will attack the side growth so that I don't disturb the main cola. Hopefully Tangerine-b will show tommorrow and it can share the burden of helping me collect a few clones. I was thinking of taking 5 cuttings. 1 or 2 for my next flowering plants, 1 or 2 for outside, and 1 extra for good luck (rather just in case). The ones for outdoors will go along with the Passion#1. Still havn't found a place for them. Still too early anyhow, I'll have at least another 2 weeks before its warm enough.

You make me feel like I'm actually doing well. Your compliments and criticism are always appreciated and your opinion is important to me. After seeing your grows...anyone would feel the same way.
I'm excited about growing Tangerine because I've never even smoked or grown a Willy Jack strain nor have I even tried Chronic. I smoked some Cali-O back in the day but...I was younger and you never knew if people were selling the real deal way back when. That stuff did knock my sox off as I remember though. I have never even seen a Willy Jack grow here on IC and never really looked for any on OG. I chose this strain because I needed a medium height, potent, high yielding, indoor, and affordable strain. I decided on the Rastaberry (Chronic X Strawberry Cough) but my local vendor was out when I went. I opted for Tangerine (Chronic X Cali-O) while I was looking through his selection. It was new to Willy Jacks 2006 collection...so I'm kind of excited I get to try something "new". I'll test grow it for you guys. HeHeHe.
The 27L(10G) baskets were a great find. My "Big Ass" potters I was using, I didn't realize how big they were. They were 20" across the top. Must be somewhere in the 20-25G range. Was probably why my first plant was 190cm(6ft) tall. I tried to use the 8L(2G) pots, but they were too little. I guess I was going to extremes. I finally found my buckets though. They fit so well together side by side and are less than 10" across. Which means I can fit my two plants in the same amount of space I fit 1 before. I have so much more room. It's great.

Smoked a Hempstar joint about 30 minutes before I left for work tonight. This isn't a usual practice for me, but I had not been home all day and hadn't smoked a joint all day. I really needed to calm my nerves after a busy day. This was the first joint of Hempstar I smoked besides the few small nugs I quick dried. I wasn't expecting that!
I've been smoking for 15+ years and this knocked me on my ass. My smoking buddy at work came up to me and asked me "are you stoned?..you look very lost" and I felt that way too. 
I spent most of my shift following the motto: out of sight...out of mind. Tip of the day: Hempstar is not weed you wanna smoke while you work.
I've smoked alot of Hempstar, usually commercially grown locally or driven in from couver. It has always knocked me on my ass, and either made me hungry or sleepy. My grow was much headier in buzz yet almost overbearing. I'm gonna hafta be choosy about when I'm going to be smoking Hempstar. I'd feel pretty stupid walking into public with that lost look on my face
Saving this stuff for movies, after work, jamming, and party enders.

^^^ Cure jar. I usually use this jar when I buy an ounce of commercial. It usually half fills it. So my guess with my sample nugs, what I took to smoke now, and my cure jar is 45 grams of smokables. I made brownie cupcakes with extra chocolate chip chunks with my cannabutter. I used up all Hempstar and Passion leaves, stems, and tiny buds plus a bunch of bud stems I been saving. These brownies are potent! I've eaten 3 thus far and stashed the rest in the freezer for future use. Yummy!

Yes, thats 5/5 on my seedlings since I started environmental conditioning. Mind you 2 of those seeds were from feminzed stock, so...I may just be one lucky man. Tangerine-b seems to be the better of the two plants, she's a little bigger and healthier. Tangerine-a has been drooping a bit. I think it was an underwatering. One day after a good showering she looked a little better, but the next day she looked the same. I watered her again yesterday so I'm hoping she looks better this morning. I just used plain h2o for the last couple of waterings while they fill out new roots. I took clippings on day 12. I clipped low on both plants taking 2 clips of T-a and 3 clips of T-b. All were from the lowest possible node. Growth has been constant and normal. More pics to come on day 20 unless I need help with a problem of course.
Took me a whole Hempstar joint to get through writing this. The whole room reeks of skunky candy. I hope noone comes to the door this morning...I'd better go get some candles going.

Oh, I was looking around on an older computer and found the photos of my passion #1, only the harvest pics, and one shot of one of the branches.
In any case, what I'd do with the passion you have is cook with it, it's got the best buzz for cooking, and I've done quite a bit, it's a really happy, end up with stomach cramps from laughing, munchies etc, yet it isn't seriously incapacitating. Unless you consider laughing uncontrollably to be incapacitated °
I grew her outdoor in hydro.. she got very big, topped and tied, she ended up with 8 or ten big colas. lots of smaller stuff in those bags.. Definitely a sun loving plant.
I grow a lot of other stuff now, but if I ever want to do cannabis cooking seriously, passion #1 would be my strain of choice.

Thanks ixnay007 for stopping in and thanks for your Passion #1 pics. It's nice to see other Passion #1 grows. I am a big fan of the Passion #1 buzz and taste. I did use alot of Passion #1 for cooking. I ended up with only about 10 grams of smokables. I really like your pics and it makes me look forward to growing Passion #1 in the sun this year. I still have about 9 Cannabutter brownies sitting in my freezer. I used Passion #1 and Hempstar to make them and man are they potent. Passion #1 is my strain of choice for alot of things, just not indoor growing anymore, lol. Don't worry bout cloggin up the thread...that's what it's here for and it's great to get feedback and especially to see what other people are doing with the same strains I'm growing. Passion #1 will forever be in my genetic bank.
Tangerines on Day 16 are looking great and have started their major stretch. I've started to train them a bit more and going to try what I'm going to call the "stairway" LST. It's just my own little twist on an LST where I let her grow vertical for a few days. then tie for a few days, creating sort of a stairway effect. I'll show you in pics in a few days. The clones have yet to show roots sitting in water. Will probably be another few days then they hit the dirt.
Hempstar reveg is still going but I'm not sure how well. Almost 2 weeks after and she's shown little improvement. Pretty much looks exactly the same. I'm going to have patience though and wait and see. I have found a few seeds in some of her more mature buds and probably netted 4 or 5 so far. If the re-veg doesn't work out...at least I know have some Hempstar genetics in my seedbank.
I have found a place for Passion #1 outside, though I don't know how secure. At least it's out of my place and out on her own. Dunno if someone will find it or not, but its probably not likely. I'm never going to risk even going back untill Sept. If it's there it's there, if it's not it's not.
Just smoked my first NYC Diesel joint today. Was impressive, but not what I thought it to be. I guess when you get something in your mind your expectations are too high. It was a good smoke though, but didn't hold a candle to the potent effect of Hempstar. I bought a quarter of each NYC Diesel, Grape, and Dallas. Was my first time trying the Dallas, and it was interesting. I dunno if and what seedbank it comes from but it tastes like lichi fruit. Grape is a common commercial bud for me and it's taste and smell are mind boggling. High is light though, not much to rave about. It is fun weed to smoke, a good day time buzz. Between NYCD,Grape,Dallas, and Hempstar I'm hoping i can make it to may Tangerine harvest which should put me on track to my goal: To never have to pay a commercial grower for what I should have the right to do myself.
I'll be by with more pics in 4 days...stay tuned

From what I've seen of Passion #1 grows my haul wasn't bad. The quality was also amazing.

We'll start with Tangerine - a. She's the runt outta the two, but the first to show sex. She's only half the size of b now, but still has alot of potential:

Tangerine-b has taken off like a madwoman. I'm so proud of her. Looks like I know which clones I'll be keeping. Take a look:

Tangerine-b is going to be quite the beauty. All I did to get the staircase effect was tie her for 2 days, then let her grow upwards for a day. It seems to allow me to get more light to the lower nodes to let them catch up. After a few more days I will let the main cola stretch upwards a bit. Her stretching days should be over in another 7-10 days anyhow.
Going organic. I bought some Terracycle organic plant food and my girls love it. I'm going to need something to go with it though, so I'm going to look into some fish emulsions. Maybe I should just use terracycle and urine. I need more PK though and urine has alot of N. Any cheap ideas?
Seen my first root off my first successful clone job today...and what do you know its a Tangerine-b clone. I will wait till the other couple get a few little roots on and pop those babies in the soil. With 5 or so plus weeks of flowering to go...these clones are going to get some great veg time, which means training time. I was thinkin of trying one scrog, or maybe hydro with a bubbler, I dunno...still exploring what is going to work for me.

Hey MGJ thanks for stoppin in. I'm great. The nicer weather and smoking a bit of Hempstar here and there has been keeping me cheery. I feel great about the clones, and it's even nicer that I got 2 females to choose from.

hey man im liking that lst, the only thing im slightly concerned about is the yellowing on the lower fans i would prolly say that ur developing somekinda defecieny. if ur looking to save a bit try some MG water soluable fert its not organic but its cheap and works

I smoked a joint with a friend who has been smoking for 30+ years and he asked if he could stay longer because he didn't feel he could drive home. He didn't even know I had grown it, although i was tempted to tell, I remember the code. I was mighty impressed with myself. I hope my re-veg of her goes well.
Budfather - I'm glad as a microgrower you approve of my LST tactics. You guys know LST best. This method will work well for me I think, because obviously (look at Passion #1 pics) I have alot of vertical space. I just don't like using it because I only run the 250W and I want maximum penetration. The lower leaves yellowed a long while ago, you can even see them in the first pics I posted, I just havn't had the heart to cut them off, I never really like messin with my girls too much besides to tie them. I do have some shitz 8-14-9 cheapy ferts, but I'm going to look into picking up some fish ferts er somethin. They'll need a feeding today or tommorrow, so I'll have to do it asap.

I think it's day 25 er somethin. Havn't had alot of traffic or anything very interesting happen this week.
Completed my Organic shopping though. I finally found some Wilson' Fish Based Fertilizer 5-10-5. Also I picked up some Organic Seaweed Soil and Organic Shrimp based soil. Of course the soil won't be used till the next grow, but with a little dolomite lime addition, perlite and vermiculite, I will have one hell of a nice medium for next grow.
It's been a busy week for me this far and I'm probably going to go camping within the next few days. I have some time off work and the weather has been being fabulous. I know it can still get pretty damn chilly at night and I have a chance of freezing my ass off, but I have proper equipment. Should be nice to get away for a few days.
I'm still going to continue posting my pics on the 10th day. So, nuttin till Sat. We should see a huge difference then.
Both ladies are looking perky. They are just starting to get real fuzzy with flowers and should start packing on major weight soon.
Hempstar is finally starting to grow new vegetive growths and should be ready to re-flower or cut flor clones soon.
The clones still havn't shown any growth spurts, but..I'm sure if they rooted proper they'll take off in next couple of days.

Of course the soil won't be used till the next grow, but with a little dolomite lime addition, perlite and vermiculite, I will have one hell of a nice medium for next grow.
It's been a busy week for me this far and I'm probably going to go camping within the next few days. I have some time off work and the weather has been being fabulous. I know it can still get pretty damn chilly at night and I have a chance of freezing my ass off, but I have proper equipment. Should be nice to get away for a few days.
I'm still going to continue posting my pics on the 10th day. So, nuttin till Sat. We should see a huge difference then.
Both ladies are looking perky. They are just starting to get real fuzzy with flowers and should start packing on major weight soon.
Hempstar is finally starting to grow new vegetive growths and should be ready to re-flower or cut flor clones soon.
The clones still havn't shown any growth spurts, but..I'm sure if they rooted proper they'll take off in next couple of days.
