The BroomRoom...

I cant help on the size or brand. Mine got recalled two years ago. Something about a fire hazard issue. I have three and really cant take them back since they smell like weed and are full of red hairs and leaves.

But I would put it in the bathroom. They put out a bunch of heat and a lung room will help spread it out before hitting the plants.

@Ichabod... howzit. Ja I actually might just go wiff the 12L, I thought you know "what If I expanded" but really..? The 12L is only 165watts... so thats a bonus... I might even get another in a few months... need one for the grow, then one for the "drying room" which Im throwing together african style... lol...

But from what I can gather the desiccants put out a lot of heat... I cant really have that, so I need to get a compressor type[not as much heat]... ie the model in the link that doesnt work....

Yeah I gotta work this "lungroom" shit out... a proper door which is "airtight' to the bathroom would be a good start... but have to make a door and frame up from scratch... got some coin now though at least...

Happy 420 too by the way... :smoke out:

Hardware store, just crush and topdress with material, or mix with H2O and pour over the top.
They are called MosquitoDunks by Summit.

You need to get a handle on those bitches, they will take out a crop, I lost at least 50% weight from last grow because of those fuckers.

@gr866... yeah I went to about 4, but being africa, they just dont have some basics that you would think they should have... gonna hit up some other spots 2mrw, as time limited my search yesterday...
I know I need to take care of em, gonna put a layer of perlite ontop of the coco as well.... although, one moms had em pretty bad for over a month... was thinking the OGBiowar would take care of em all... which isnt the case by the looks of things...

Its called Margaret Roberts Biological Mosquito Insecticide over this side....

Go Palace.....!!!!! Whoop...!

It depends on how much trimming you want to do later.

If you are not going to have much time to train or trim trim them hard. Take everything but the tips. This will give you better bud quality but a lower yield. It will also be more forgiving on the training.

If you have the time to train prune and trim then take less and leave the screen fairly full. Like 90% full. But this will take a lot more time to prune and trim.

Me I never seem to have the time I need so I have been trimming hard lately.

@Ichy... shot for the advice, mmm well trimming kinda sucks so... its only a few plants, and I got time to fuss over them till I pass out each night....
I must say I was pretty shocked @ how much foreman trimmed, but @ week 6 I was like "mmmmkay".... Im not looking for heaps but more on the "quality" side... if thats even possible wiff me...
Id rather have lots of small frosty buds rather than big fat colas... just so nervous about botrytis...

What would you do..?

Managed to grip the BTI... looks kinda old thou...? Fuck you gnats...

I would trim quite a bit. A dense canopy breeds molds. A more open canopy allows air to move threw and keep it drier to prevent molds. And get some good light powered fans rotating on the canopy to get that air flow.

@ichy... fuck Im envisioning 3 foot plants wiff like ten leaves on each lol... so like every branch, and branches off branches should only have one bud site?? at the end..?? in relation to flip, when should all this be done..? Still on the hunt for the fans, I know I really need one in one of the top corners, kinda blowing down[wall mounted] for lights off...

You know your strains better than I do so do what you think is best based on that.

How I thin is as follows. Any branch that is not at least 1/4 the diameter of the branch it comes off of. Where the canopy is dense I take the smaller branches till it is thinned to where I feel it will still fill in during stretch. I dont like branches that are thin unless they are at the branch tips. By thin I mean about the size of the lead in a pencil or the ink tube of a pen.

I want about 70% of the screen filled when it goes into flower not 80 to 90%. If you have a plant that does not stretch much maybe 80 to 85% filled. What I want is a screen that allows air to pass threw after the buds swell.

Does that help clarify it some what as to what I would do? Remember this is your grow and I have no experience in it so do what you feel is best. I know I have flowered at 70 to 80% RH with good air flow and had no problems except plant growing way to fast. But I am not as open to the outside as you are. I did get a shit ton of mold on my AC fan during that high RH.

@Ichabod... yummy, spoon fed... shot bro I appreciate it heaps! The only reason I have every got any of this even remotely right has been from copying bits and pieces from guys across the boards[namely this section] And had some proper tutoring... And its been 6months since I flipped something, so just wanna do my best to get a decent result here, first and foremost I want the "quality" Iv checked from last run coco+hempys = explosion...! So I feel I need to concentrate on the most important thing, the environment I provide....
oh yeah and no drift, fucking awesome...!

Iv built the frame, and hung the door to the bathroom to create a lungroom... I need to foam the gaps, and get that dehuey going... RH is still mid 70's during the day.....

Im pretty fucking ampt thou.... :canabis:

@Ichabod... yo bro, so when you say "leave only the tips"... do you remove the budsites AND the leaves below said left tops...?? shoto...

I like about the last 8 inches and clean out everything back to the branch it is coming off. Multiple branches off the branch I am stripping dont have to be removed if they are a quarter the diameter of the branch.

Again this is strain dependent. Some strains like Golden Goat will not stretch and should not be stripped if it will leave a bare spot in the canopy. It is more a judgement call that you will have to make once you understand how the plant will grow.

Not being there I dont know your plants like you do. But as a general rule this will work for most plants but not all. You just have to run the strain to get it right. And I still over and under do it.

@Ichabod... hey shot bru, I just dont want any face palm moments lol, so Im gonna throw the nets up and place and fix the plants as I go along... if somethings getting shaded Ill cut it... I understand that gaps on the screen is a fuckup, and better to have little sucker branches there than I gapping hole... also they only 400's hey, so not gonna get lots of penetration anyways... shoto :tiphat:
