@Mirac... yeah, I got a four piece.... but I dont have those face lamp holders and plugs and shit... mine will be all diy pretty much.... wouldnt wanna disappoint....

@Ichabod... Fuck so you have the bottom of the light that low down...?!! I know its standing up right, opposite to hanging down, but shirly theres still a bit of light shining down...? I thought of having it maybe 8" above the top of my buckets..... but Ill just put connecters on to lengthen it if need be....

I also thought it'b be a cool idea to have a cage wrapped around the bottom light.... so shit doesnt fall into it, and maybe wrap it around the base of the pvc, so the diameter is of importance....

Yes I have it that low. Not much light comes out towards the bottom. Besides I bend some branch tips down. The tips produce some of the better nugs so they should get good light.

I have never wrapped a bulb. Dont need to. I am watering twice a day so I can tie things back as needed.

@Ichabod.... mkay, Iv made mine a bit lower already.... I think after I make casters and shit, the rims of the buckets will be 1" below the base of the light holder... so not quite as low as yours.... maybe 3" higher in total... but we'll see when its done...

Yeah I wanna wrap my bulbs coz Im not planning on having a trellis or topping or shit... just wanna let the plants grow tall and stack the lights... super amped to change things up and learn as I go....

You right, I dont know whats wrong with me.... hard to find decent chics around this side.... not many "cool" people about....

You said the your buds look like caramel corn... but do they taste like caramel corn heyyyyyy :dunno:

I need beer...

Well i have been married for 21 years. She has her stuff to do and I have my stuff. I am no going to play that I am good at cooking or cleaning. And she is under no impression she can do the heavy lifting like me. Doesnt mean that we both dont help each other. But for fucks sake I am not going to lie and say what isnt so. Women have things they do best and men have things they do best.

I clean out my branches up to about a foot above the pot or higher. I dont want to trim any more small shit than I need to.

Unless you glued those legs I would connect them at the bottom. Dont want the leg to twist out and break a bulb while you water.

Amen. kudos to the people that are frugal n want to save money n use the brick stuff. I prefer ready to go from the bag now. that's even knowing u get about 3 or 4 times as much when u buy n prep the brick stuff. u do invest time, water, n nutes, to prep it, that u have to account for, when comparing the two.

Remember, go the extra mile when rinsing n charging. its so worth it, to not have any down time, n deficiencies that u will cost way more time n money than the tedious prep job.

What r u drying it for? Just let it drain well n keep it open so if their is extra moisture it can escape instead of building up in a closed bucket, causing mold or rot. Ive done that before, too much moisture n the coir will wick to the bottom of the bucket n be totally soaked. if u don't pay attention n come back in a week u will have a nasty rotten smell.

Turn the top with the bottom to keep it equal moisture. the top will have a chance to evaporate, while the bottom will collect the wick/drain action that happens.

hmm.. a buddy of mine delt with a stem fungus/bacteria of some sorts it was grey.. and he would lose 30/40% of his plants every harvest they would get to like 2 weeks bfore the chop.. and they would just droop and die.. and it could be like 1/4th of a big plant that dies the rest lived until the day it was chopped.

These will go full term. They develop buds with no frost or smell. The tell tale signs are branches that snap easy and the buds leaves will start to yellow at about week four. There is a big thread on duds. I dont care just moving on with new media and plants.

@Mirac... Im confident Iv washed it well enough. Iv just been drying it by hand, squeezing it... it is a mission, but it gets it done. I dont wanna leave it open, coz shit might land in it... but its only 2 tote's worth... and I will be turning it a bit, shot for the heads up... :tiphat:

@Zap.... "abroad" sigh...

If you want it to dry that is easy. Drill a hole in a five gallon bucket. Take a piece of rope and tie a knot in it. Slid the rope threw the hole so the knot stops at the bottom of the bucket on the inside. Not super tight knot. Put coco in the bucket with the rope going up 4 to 5 inch into the coco. Fill the bucket up with the coco. Set the bucket up on two bricks so the the rope touches soil below.

The perched water table will then be lowered to were the rope is now and the excess water will drain.
