:tiphat:That's refreshing....I think there is alot lost in translation with trump...
Almost like speaking a different language for some....
Example...in this last confrontation
That im sure had everyone on edge about how it was gonna play out...
Trump used loud,boisterous,bravado
Even false statements like we were gonna destroy their cultural sites...something trump knew was sacred and very dear to the Iranians
He used this hyperbole to strike at the heart and minds of an entire nation hell bent on hatred and wound up like two dollar watch for the death of America and Americans
And yet we intercepted transmissions that insured no Americans were to be targeted in the missle attack...
This tells you Trump owns them...
The Iranian leadership had no choice
But to strike or loose their entire hold of the people and thus the nation
They masturbated the masses and saved face with no blood shed or war
Terrorism is the ability to strike fear and uncertainty in the minds of masses for control or disruption....
But never back an opponent into a corner

Not erbody speaks trump..I get it
If you hate em...vote his ass out...
But he has shown that he run the show on half the cylinders.....make sure your choice can do the same
They will need too

Rant over :tiphat:

Meh, he plays schoolyard military man, there is no depth to his tactics.
The world has always known that the US has the most powerful military, they didn't just hear Captain Blowhard and start quaking in their boots.
They know he's not that smart but that he's impulsive.

Nothing strikes fear into an opponents heart like inpulsiveness...

I noticed POTUS mention to the world that the Iran 'nuclear deal' money was used to finance extremist militias all over the region and Hezbollah. Sounds like a pretty serious accusation to just throw out there like that. Did anyone else notice the President of the United States say that?

Nuclear weapons strike fear into the hearts of others, you just don't need to be impulsive when you have weapons like that.

When there are tensions between countries you try to smooth things over with time and diplomacy and look for peace ~endlessly~ not be an impulsive grease fire and just destabilise things.

The US is not some perfect dictator that gets to tell the rest of the world how to live, everything has to be give and take.

Funny how sensitive people are if they think Trump is being dissed.
It’s the derangement syndrome

Was in response to that minds_i post quoting hempy, #16716. As you said you dont care about pre 2016 Republicans. Dubyah years...

He doesn’t care about anything *NOW*: he just believes he’s paying more attention now than he did then (don’t tell him)

Stupid bird, the peacock. Showy loudmouths think they’re special.

Facts, Einstein, don’t just tell us stuff - your credibility depends on facts well-conveyed and properly understood. Don’t be a peacock - if that’s as high as you can reach, why reach at all? Why not give up now? You know you want to

It is sometimes.

I wouldn't have been born if we hadn't dropped the bombs on Japan. Dad was on his way there for a land invasion when they dropped. Japan is free, not our slaves, same as Deutchland.

I like that the US has them and doesn't use them. I like that the US doesn't sent people with body wraps of dynamite into crowds of civilians.

No country that constantly threats, and wants to destroy other nations, including civilians should ever be allowed to have nuclear ballistic weapons. I hope we never have to smash Iran, but, sooner may be better then later, unless they dump their pile of crap religious government

Re-reading this NY Times opinion piece which was designed to alert Soleimani hours before the strike, I noticed Putin's name used once in the first sentence to introduce the topic of hypersonic weapons. Trumps name was mentioned once or twice. The only other person named in the entire thing is Soleimani. And he was a rather unfamiliar person to most readers. It is absolutely clear that this whole article was crafted and published in an attempt to alert Soleimani before the attack.
