High all! The partition installment is slow going. It is NOT as easy as you would think. However, It is going to achieve the affect that I had planned. Im about three quarters of the way completed, but here are some pics so that you can at least get an Idea of what im trying to do Peace, TBug

Very nice, I'll be watching from the side lines. Looking forward to this one for sure. I'll be building one of these units but in the round PVC tubing. I just got access to the large 6" for free and will save me some money. Thing are looking good and you better be ready for some monster's. It won't take long in that system you got. Nice job and keep it up.

High -VT-! Thanks, its actually serving a dual purpose. Its humidifying and pulling the cool air up from the root zone into the grow area. I could have put it lower but I couldnt see if it was running low on water. Peace, TBug

High ALL! Im having trouble keeping humidity levels up. I only have a small output fan and a humidifier on high in a small space. Any sugestions? Peace and thanks, TBug

Hey TBug whats your RH sittin at right now? I deal with the low RH too, but I always look at it more that I DONT have to deal with high RH in late bloom.

If you have the room for one a cheap portable swamp cooler will not only bring your RH up 10% or more if you run it on high 24/7 but it will also drop your temps a few degrees. In a small walkin closet (4x5') I can drop temps 10F+ and raise my RH by 20-25%.

Granted the smaller the space the more effect it will have. I think your using an entire bedroom so I don't know how much impact it would have. Their cheap tho might be worth a shot.

Me, I don't really worry about it too much. All it does is give you slower growth in early veg. I have lost a couple seedlings over the years but you just have to be careful with them when they are VERY young. Yours are past that stage anyway. Once the plants get to flowering they will bring the RH up to the 40-50% range by themselves which is probably about where you want it.


Glad to see you got some plants in there, can't wait to see it all unfold.

High Keef! ...and thanks. You gave me an Idea. Im not exactly inclined to add heat to an area where Im strugling to control temps. But you did spark an idea. I took some clean towels and dipped them into RO water and h2o2 (to sanitize angaint mildew) hung them infront of my fans. might help. Peace, TBug

High Hughie! Its not a bed room. its a 5x7 closet, so it should help. By "swamp cooler", do you mean those mister fans? If so that might be do-able. would that cloud up my mylar? Also, my RH readings may be inaccurate, as you can see its older than me.
Im going to spray them with RO, would it hurt them if I sprayed everyday? Also, If I did spray every day would it wash off the diamond nectar and epson salts? Peace and thanks, TBug

High again! Me too things are already startin' to develope. Its exiciting to watch and I have a feeling this will be a good one. Though, I wish they were clones or 100% fems. Not that i would ever be able to smoke it all, but I need some bucks! Will be installing a cfm and scrubber towards the 1st of October(next pay). Im looking at $300. plus, I want to put up some T5s on the walls.
Its not easy "keeping up with the neighbors" ya' know! (ie. Blazeoneup) lol

High hughie! Thats just too much! I have put $1,000s into this "closet" and have yet to break even. Im hanging wet towels in front of the fans inside the room. That, combined with the humidifire will have to do. ive been bouncing between 40% and 50%. How important is "optimal humidity"? Peace, TBug

This here plant has like a 6 day headstart on the rest of the pack. She is doing great, but should be at a higher hevel nute streanght at this point. Im sorta using her(as i do with all women,lol) as a precurser as to what the root will do as the plant grows.

Hey TBug if I can get my RH to hold at 45-50% Im real happy about it man.

I thought of another idea last night. A 5 gallon bucket filled half way with water, with a honeywell fan blowing down into the bucket could get you an increase in RH. Not sure if it would even be signifigant enough to matter but it might be worth a try. Im sure you have a 5 gallon bucket laying around and maybe even a muffin fan too.

I dig the wet towel idea though, how much did that bring your RH up?

Looks like your getting some good growth tho so I wouldn't be trippin on the 40-50% RH at all. Like I said, it will be to your advantage come flowering.

PS I feel you on the dropping $$$$ and not even breaking even yet. You and I both know that in the long term we will come out so far ahead its crazy. Just gotta think long term.

High BH! brought it up just a few notches. I cant get a 5-gallon bucket in there. i can get a shallow rubbermaide tub in and THEN fill it once in place.
I am trying the old vicks vaporizer in the adjacent room where the AC is. maybe by moistening the air a bit before it goes into the room may help. Peace and thanks, TBug
