Hey tbug . You might want to consider flat white walls insted of my lar saw wrinkles all over your not putting the light where you want it. trust me i prazed the mylar showed people studies but if you let it get nasty dirty so on it lozes its efectiveness . and the wrinkles . light is going in all the wrong directions.

you know, the details! you said 4 strains, but what are the 4? What nutes, additives, ect? Any other tricks up your sleeve? You know, the details! 
Ive got a couple question on how it works. Bare with me here, Im a total newb to this. Who knows though, I may have one of these within a few months 
I assume water is pumped into the 'high' end of the system and then flows down the gutters and back into the res. NFT basically. Is that a part of this setup?
How (and) where do the misters get water from? How do they work, you just pump water to them or what?
Roughly how often do you mist and for how long?
How long can the plants live without being misted?

did you want to keep plant numbers down? cause you know you could fit some more lovley young ladies in each row ( thats why im asking about plant numbers)
fully understand if you want to keep em low.
and bout the only other thing is i would personally put a elbow where the drain goes into the res and light proof it, could save all sorts of problems later like alge

High Dope and Baby! Dope, I think a mod combined my quotes to shorten the thread or something, not really sure what happened there.
As for the details of the grow...they are aon the way!
The pump stays on quite a bit. 2hrs on then 1/2 hour off. the chambers are practically air tight. So a close to 100% humidity exists within the chamber.
Baby, the tubes(long 1/2" pvc) are capped so that the water that is pumped comes out the misters and sprays the roots. they spray streams of mist in all directions and bounce off the sides and top. if not covered water splashes out the opening as well.

This will be their weekly feeding schedule...mostly. Substitute the florasheild for hygrozyme. and axe the floralicious bloom and grow. I will post formitable substitutes for tose when i find them. *****The problem is that they contain kelp which is likely to clog the misters.******

ok I gotcha so its not NFT at all! The plants are solely dependant on the mist for feedings.
Hey you didn't answer one of my questions though, how long can you go without a misting before the plants die?
Can or do? I answered the do....dont know the answer to can. lol they went 8 hours when my pump went dry with that first leak I mentioned. they were dry but recovered pretty quickly. I would guess they wouldnt last much longer than that. but thats just a guess. Peace, TBug

exactly, CAN. I appriciate the answer. So a powerfailure for a day would be death to grow. I wonder how long a good battery backup would provide power for the pump while power is out. They dont' pull much power at all

Post, if my turns out nearly as well as yours, I will be thrilled! I cant wait to get some variety. I have been smoking NL straight every night for two years now.
Eulogy, I will need to put an elbow in there. the water keeps backing up on the underside of the drain pipe. there is not much light in that room normally so algea isnt much a concern. I like the waterfall effect though. i was thinking it helps cool down the res temp! Thanks for the tips though!

High baby! yeah thats right, but thats pretty boring if ya think about it. first, im sooooo used to it i can barely feel the effect. I just get sleepy and go to bed.lol. second, the genetics from the orig. High ALL! Does anyone want to see pics of the "trial run" plants? Pretty shitty looking plants cause they spent 4 days in buckets w/ no light. But i have never been more impressed with the developemrnt of a root system since they have been in the new set up.. these roots look like magazine photos.....damn nice roots! Peace, TBug
