I agree with your point. It is just a lot of attention on a "new strain".Dont get me wrong, I sampled quite some NYCD as well as Tangie and no doubt about it, there is this very unique flavor to it. I fully understand why it is a very popular cut.
It just might not be a completly new thing, more of a pretty genius marketing/branding move imo.
When really it is just a phenotype reminiscent of California orange.
But I just wanted to make it known that this isn't a strain to be took as a washed up feminized Dna strain.
Not saying that I do not like Dna genetics, Aaron from dna is a cool dude, along with Crockett also.
Both of them are doing some big moves. Much respect to both genetic companys.
