So what is the best representation in seed form of "Cali-o, agent orange, tangi"? Which breeder has the best version if you were to buy today?

Most Stable/Reputable Breeders

I am looking for grower's thoughts on the most stable, consistent, and reputable breeders. I want to avoid breeders who are all hype and cups. Breeders with super stable, consistent genetics that grow with little variation between phenos...or most phenos are highly desirable. I have never grown DNA, what gives them the label in the quote from Cabinet Ninja?

I have a small seed bank that services medical growers in Michigan and I only want to carry the best genetics. Right now I have the breeders listed below. Who should I stock and who should I drop?

Cali Connection
GDP
HSO
BC Bud Depot
Crockett Family Farms
Moxie
Rare Dankness

Planning on adding Motarebel and TGA soon. I have been thinking about SinCity Seeds too but, have read some bad opinions recently.

Thanks!

I was in Amaterdam for the cup (lol) last year and heard that the Crockets were at the DNA shop selling seeds. I made contact with Mrs Crockett to double check they had reg Tangie seeds and she confirmed their price (€80/10 pack) and that they were well stocked.

Headed down to the DNA store, 5 mins away from my hotel, only to be told by whoever it was behind the counter that they only had fem versions for €120/5 pack.

You can bet your ass I laughed me way out of the shop.

Fuck DNA and their shady bullshit.

well most stable/ reputable breeders kinda eliminates cali connect and moxie imo you may want to go with a few breeders from this forum. Like relentless, tony green, hammerhead, karma and any of the other outstanding breeders that frequent this place.

my 5th run with tangie finished a couple of weeks ago,,,,,
very small plant that i have run as a cut the last 2 times but just a few for me and GratefulHead,,,,,
like opening a carton of fresh orange juice when ya open a jar and very low yield but taste and aroma is tops ,,
potency? not so much,,,,,
will run some fem beans in the future but not running her presently,,,
seemed to like low feed and hates being overwatered and wont shrug it off and carry on like some other varietys and will take a week or two to settle "back into the groove",,,s2

I' runnin also a few of the regs., still in their 5th week of flowering. So far is healthy and well structured, big calyxes forming swollen buds and an unmistakable stench of oranges. Still, i've just also put a cut from the most promising, and pollinized a lower branch. Father being a vigorous branchy male with decent orange odour running fingers through the stem.
The pack says CaliO x Skunk, which called m attention. I've run that in the past out of dutch seeds, i've even crossed it myself and gave seeds away by the fistload (forgotten CaliO male screwed that year's harvest composed of Cali O and Skunk but gave seeds enough to feed the chickens). They where ok and many had the orange touch. This is not touch, it's punch.
I dunno the exact origin and if there's a better version of this, but sure it has sufficient orange in it, the next level of odour is an orange grown in Valencian orange tree opened in half.
Still, let's see how it performs when dried. 944s2, you say it's mild, which is fine by me as i've got others that aren't mild for choice. What's your growing medium?

hiya mate,,,i grow in bio bizz all mix or canna pro mix indoor,,,i believe i said that "her potency? not so" but still not to say she is a strong smoke just not in the potency of other "usual" generic varietys ,,,,
very best of luck with her,,,,,,s2:tiphat:

Thanks 944s2! Biobizz, of course, same here. Been using it for a long time, perfect for people like me who hates measuring things.
An orange taste and smell is like a fancy product, shouldn't be too impaired by couchlocking. I think will be a nice item to have in any proper cannatheque, next to the hazes, skunks, berries and diesels.

In my 8th week of flowering 24k(TangiexKosher Kush)..My 3rd time around with this amazing girl. I've ran over 20 or so strains in my life, and I can definitely say that she's something special. She grows like an OG(leggy), but with a tangie taste out of this world!! Buds are rock solid n very crusted with resin. Yield is above average also. I'll be keeping this one for awhile. Great thread. I'll post pics when I get a chance...cheers

wrong.

crockett was friends with dan crew. He did his own thing and allowed DNA to come select clones of genetics to bread for seed production. Nothing that had to do with crockett himself other than cuts provided. Not sees, not pollen. -crockett via dm
