The temperature thing was going fine UNTIL THE FAN BLEW. AGAIN. I asked my buddy to help me with the girls and the wire. We were able to fix the problem. DO NOT try and use variable speed controls on NuTone fans!!

and personally I like this because it will add color to some plants that turn colors

I am seeing that now. And they are really cooking. Except one that just keeps getting fatter, not taller. I put her on a book to keep up with her sisters.

So here we are at Day 63, 19th day of 12 / 12. Aside from the problems already logged I did find a spider on a plant. The spider is no more. I looked all through the plants and I did not see anything. Closet is clean and I dont know that I can do much more then just keep an eye out for critters.

Here are the pictures for today. 30" under the 1000 watt HPS. Temp 86 degrees and humidty is 19% typical day.

They are all Northern Lights. But the two in the middle are more on the bushy side whereas the rest are shooting up starting to form colas. The leaves of the bushy ones seem more like indica whereas the leaf on the big girls seem like sativa. Color and smell is consistant with all. So the five tall girls are surronding the two bushy girls. Here are the latest pictures

Here are the girls. The one in the middle is fat bushy girl, my favorite. Huge Flowers, thick flowers. The rest have long colas that are filling in. Growing along...

Looking at them tonight, five look alike, two look alike and chubby girl. As the buds are growing, I can see a difference. Chubby girl has very wide thick buds with long thick white hairs. And it looks like a little bush, shapes itself. All out of the same pack. They look good, no funky leaf color and no sign of spiders.

Looking pretty good ! So that's what northern lights looks like growing freely, that main cola looks pretty large ! Is it too heavy to support itself, and that's why you added the stick ? How long do you estimate your flower time to be ? I still haven't chopped mine yet, but I will be doing that soon.

Looks great. I grew out some NL#5 from BC Seeds a few years back and it was an amazing plant. Curious did you get these NL seeds from a well known bank?

Yes I found out the hard way. Those colas are a minimum 12 inches now and if they fill out and get thick, it will fall under the weight. Even though I have a great trunk, it is still not enough to hold the weight.

I still haven't chopped mine yet

Yes I am getting why now. This is not a fast finish for me either. The "suggested" flowering time is out the window. I have 1000 watts on these girls and they just plug along at their own pace.

This time out I have really watched the pH. I have not had as many leaves go bad and the plants look good. Nuets every other watering. water every third day.

My mags are good but I need something more powerful to see the glands up close. Someone said go to RadioShark. Anyway I think the clear to amber is the way I want to judge on cutting.

That's looking very nice, it seems that you'll end up with a very nice harvest and yield there. How is the odor ? Mine was pretty low odor for almost the entire grow, but the last 2-3 weeks before they got chopped, I really started to notice it some more. It was sort of skunky and it had a fairly noticable citrus sort of smell when I gently squeezed some buds. I've had them in jars for a couple of days now, and I'm happy with the way the cure is progressing, they're starting to smell better and better whenever I pop the lids to check on things.

How is the odor ?

It seems to be going the same as yours. Last few days I can smell it coming out the vent. Just as you described.

I am using water and sweet now. Bout 10 days I am guessing
