I have my doubts with MrNice, If shanti really does have the original mothers and fathers from GHS then why aren't his F1's coming out exactly like the one's from the fist release? One would think same parents, same kids right?

GHS never had Neville's parent plants Nev made the seed and then sold the seed to GHS while Shanti and Arjan owned GHS.



Then when shanti left sold his share of GHS and started Mr nice Nev gave Shanti his parental library before Nev left Europe for Australia.



If i was going to get haze hybrids i know were i would be looking.

If you're going to be pollinating a NLxHaze female, I suggest trying the cross with Blueberry Headband.

It's not like it's going to explode (except maybe with resin), and as long as it keeps the Hallucinogenic Sativa qualities of the NLxHaze, with the fox tails on your fox tails growth pattern, and 14 week flowering time ... I think you might like it.

Of course NLxHaze makes a good base cross for just about anything.

One other classic to cross it with is Romberry, Romulan x Blueberry.

Arjan claimed he hunted down the clones that nevil left with friends an even dropped names ov wer he got them from...he also had the original f1 seed stock that nevil left him...so wat ther claim is is this...that they hav nevils selected super silver haze clone that was selected by nevil himself from loads of skinny cat piss types the line was originally giving out an was left with certain ppl in holland..an they also got nevils selected Neville's haze clone..it is these clones that they claim they are now selling s1 seeds of...both of these clones are supposed to be the exact selected plants nevil won the cups with..wat the truth is only they know..but clones of some of nevils work hav been popping up so its obvious nevils selected clones always been around..although what hempy said is spot on..nevil left all the plants he had left with shanti before going back home.

@HighSteppa - please continue. You're dating the right era. I've never been made 100% privy to the origins of that cut, but there has been speculation, the cut was a selection made by Shanti.

It has also been suggest at times, it's the same cut as Roms cut.

I have never smoked it directly, but I certainly like how it behaved in an outcross.

Being another SSH fan I'll also recommend Big buddha's Silver Cheese....I'm on my second round of it....its really really nice....its more like silver haze than super silver haze ....really sweet and really spicy and cheesy very much like SSH but if you made it more sweet and spicy,, ,its a more haze strong than ssh.....smells like hot sex and dirty laundry

This still doesn't answer my question on why Shanti's Black Widow, Medicine man, Shark shock; La nina, ect.. don't grow like when they first got released at GHS. It's most likely true about him losing some of his perantal stock, because those well know indica dominate strains are now mostly long flowering sativa dominate crap.

All the haze hybrids i grew came from Mr nice the SSH F1 i had were huge plants .


50% haze is not going to produce indica plants you mnite be lucky and find a few indica expressive plants i saw 1.

That's not greed. Seeds are still too cheap. Even at $2k for a pack of 10 - that is too cheap. Cannabis seeds give you the ability to print money. GOOD genetics, are quite literally, priceless.

I'll never forget, how INSTANTLY excited I became, when I learned I could buy a life change for $150. 20 years ago, I truly expected well bred cannabis seeds to be wildly unavailable and I expected those which were, to be out of reach.

I've never, ever, ever, ever - felt taken advantage of when buying a pack of seeds. I've spent $800 for 10 seeds - and I still feel, as if, I'm the one who got the deal.

I'll never understand why people expect to make (or save) a fortune by growing their own, and yet are against any sort of barrier to entry. It's one thing if that barrier goes to politicians - it's something else entirely, when that price penalty goes to those who built the industry and have a family at home to take care of - WHILE - committing felonies for us to have seeds...

WTF is wrong with people getting their own in this game? Why are we okay with buying stock from Canopy Corp - but not okay, putting dollar bills in our brothers pocket....???

It's fucked - really.

Grow your own. Sprout seed from people YOU KNOW. Create something new buy perpetuating something for 10 years rather than chasing the new fads. That's why SSH is a perfect strain in which to make such a statement.

It's a classic. It still holds it's own. Old, GHS black packs from '97-'99 - you know THE ones. Yep.

That is when it was kill.

Before that, you need that '89-'92 SSSC NL5 x Haze. Only other line that has as many, true timeless keepers that have been integrated into some much of everything...

Except maybe, Chem '91...LOL.
