is this s strain you made yourself? sounds good care to share more? i love trying to find the ceiling on my smoke, or atleast trying. i had this stuff once, have no idea what it was but i physically couldnt take another hit cause i was laughing so hard. i was sitting in a circle with all my friends. they were all baked but i wanted to do somemore smoking. after 45 min with the bong in my hand say "wait, wait... wait i want to get one more hit" and then laughing so hard i was about to lose my sanity my friend said "dud its time to go inside" (we were sitting in my garage).Budelaire said:

sure, though I would say that, although trichome coverage is nice, as a general principlal prevalent trichomes do not necessarily indicate potency in the way often assumed ... weed can be crystally as anything and not necessarily be that potent - and more significantly although the buds may appear great and enticing, the high itself can be unrefined
the quality of the resin profile is the issue IMHO - and for instance how this matures during the late stages of ripening and curing ... a classy landrace can be spotted by the fact that it cures nigh on indefinitely
likewise, great sativas can have minimal to no crystal coverage on leaves ... and show their real qualities at the experiential end - i.e. the high - which at the end of the day, is what it is all about, sayeth I

I agree 100% namkha! Generally the plants that are more potent with less resin seem to be the ones I like the most. I'm not sure what it is. Outdoor seems to have smaller but more potent by weight resin glands Perhaps all the extraneous smoke and tar makes the buzz more sedative. Although the more resin the easier it is to dry sieve full melt hash and as much as I like outdoor grown oaxacan its not easy to make full melt dry sieve from it.

my strongest sativa is cinderella 88. it matures in 50 days of flower. very trippy and speedy. it doesn't make me paranoid but it would probably screw some of you into the ground.
i would love to get other very sativa strains but the flower times are ridiculous. i can do 4 grows with a 60-70 day genetic and maybe 2.5 with a long flowering sativa. i hope to someday have another flower room for some 90 to 120 day nightmares.

I concur with that statement now! The weird 13-week Seedsman skunk I grew recently fits that bill completely - sadly I just started my last 5g bud, so it won't be long before I'm back to earth for a while.
But man - this stuff is seriously strong - much more so than the other two - though in a more psychedelic realm, and less stony. It's much less resinous than the other two, and I tend to pull the buds apart, rather than crumble them. Also it took a lot longer to dry and cure properly, presumably from the higher water content. I didn't think skunks went this far toward the sativa end, but I've changed my mind now.
The high is mind-warping; more roller-coaster and intense than the Malawi, though with a faster come-down too. It's what I call 'nostril-flaring' weed, in that it can completely take you over, and push you into an LSD-type zone - along with a few beads of sweat, and a wild stare! Very good stuff indeed - for £10 a pack, I consider them the bargain of a lifetime...

nah she's acapulco gold from 'ol school seed stock...flowre time is 100 days give or take... plant stretched like 3-4x during 12/12, i started with a 8" clone, now i gotta 2 foot plant lol

Since I grew myself those nice genetics from Ecuador and Hawaii and smoke it every day, the high is soaring, uplifting, mood enhancing. Ngakpa you are right on the non-relation between visible crystal on the bud and the high itself, but what me and my friends are smoking is totally awesome. Strong head rush, typically to pure sativas. The leave structure (thin) the speed of grow (sativas grow tall) and the non couchlock high makes this 2 sativas cross a marvel. I smoke since 1977 and I can say this stuff is one of my 5 best smokeable. I have tried Panama Red once, back in 1978 and it only got close to what I have. Long live to Hawaiian sativa genetics and to powerfull landraces!

jojajico: thanks for sharing your experiences with us. Always nice to read how people cope with powerfull stuff. I bought my 100% Sativa hybrid at HempDepot (distributor) in Ottawa, but I'm working on keeping these genetics very alive. My seeds comes from Federation breeders in Vancouver. They do not carry anymore this Hawaiian Sativa genetic from Mauna Kea Island. They, however still carry the Celestial Temple Sativa (from Ecuador), called C.T.S. I read here that pure landrace sativas from Hawaii were very rare. I got lucky because my 3 foot cloned female/future mother is actually the hawaiian phenotype. Lucky enough, I still have some of those original seeds I bought. I crossing my fingers, hopefully to find a Hawaiian phenotype male. Even if I catch the C.T.S. phenotype, I will be very happy, since they are both 100 % sativa landraces and both phenos (I caught a C.T.S. pheno in my previous flowering) give awesome soaring highs. Forget about Tylenol, Aspirin or Advil, the worst migraine is history with a few puffs of this. When I feel down (i have a slight tendency to depression), I just light up a pipe with .05 gr and this beats any Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil or any of those mind benders LOLL. Just for fun, Friday night (February 2nd) I went to my favorite club and offered and share a small joint of Hawaiian X C.T.S. to a 62 year old friend. Gee, this guy was dancing and singning like a 17-year old during his prom night. I laughed on the mood change he experienced. I'm a little devil, sharing this powerful stuff to unsuspecting friends!

Sativa landraces that finish in less than 100 days are rare. There is the Durban Poison but it is said oftenly that the high is too speedy and has paranoid side effects. When I saw that C.T.S. x Hawaiian Sativa was a 70 day finisher, I was skeptic at first. I bought the seeds anyway because if you don't try and risk in life, there is not much discover. I was overwhelmed to see how this hybrid was growing. OK, let's be reasonable and wait for harvest and curing. That is what I did. I was not deceived. Electric stuff!
If you are looking for a 70 day pure sativa (and it is an Ecuador landrace) you can try the C.T.S. still sold by Federation. They have discontinued the Hawaiian cross. Too bad. It might be back sometime. Please Ziggy have those Hawaiian genetics back!

well, i guess there no for sure way to tell what i have...ya just gotta go by what fellow growers tell you the clones your recieving are... what makes you think it's a hybrid BTW? curious...those pics are from day 50something

howdy Budelaire. i'll check out the C.T.S. x Hawaiian. i plan on making another seed buy in a couple months. i can handle 70 days as that's how long i run my s.a.g.e. and supersilverhaze.

well...I sure wish you would tell me what makes you think my acapulco is a hybrid?? is it because it didn't come from YOUR seed company? I surely hope not...smoke on smokers!
