All the article says is that a bunch of people calling themselves "Skyguard" is rolling out exactly the same argument from ignorance as you are. I cannot disprove chemtrails anymore than I can disprove that the sun is in fact a giant peach that was set on fire by Jimi Hendrix playing a sweet guitar solo while he was still in the womb. But you sure as shit can't prove them because, just like I know that the sun is not a giant peach, I know this particular CT is 100% batshit crazy and I worry massively for the future of the human race if there are people backwards enough to believe it.

Study co-author Steven Hoffman, a visiting assistant professor of sociology at the University at Buffalo, and colleagues say for the most part people completely ignore contrary information.

For example, before the 2004 U.S. election there was strong resilience of the belief among many Americans that Saddam Hussein was linked to the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, despite strong evidence otherwise.

The mis-perception that Hussein was responsible for the terrorist attacks was very persistent, despite all the evidence suggesting no link existed, Hoffman says.

"The study demonstrates voters' ability to develop elaborate rationalizations based on faulty information," Hoffman says in a statement. "We form emotional attachments that get wrapped up in our personal identity and sense of morality, irrespective of the facts."

The study, published in Sociological Inquiry, did not find that people were being duped by a campaign of innuendo so much as they were actively constructing links and justifications that did not exist.

People wanted to believe in the link because it helped them make sense of a current reality and they were seeking justification for a war already in progress, Hoffman says.

Some prominent voices at NASA are fed up with the agency's activist stance toward climate change.

"The shock revelation starkly contradicts the core proposition of the so-called greenhouse gas theory which claims that more CO2 means more warming for our planet," write H. Schreuder and J. O'Sullivan for PSI. "[T]his compelling new NASA data disproves that notion and is a huge embarrassment for NASA's chief climatologist, Dr. James Hansen and his team over at NASA's GISS."

Dr. Hansen, of course, is an outspoken global warming activist who helped spark man-made climate change hysteria in the U.S. back in 1988. There is a huge difference between a product sold in volume for an illicit purpose and a prototype aircraft undergoing mandated flight testing.

Not much point dropping biological agents or toxins from high altitude , bacteria would not survive the intense cold and UV , viral weapons would drift hundreds of miles off target and take weeks to reach the ground.

Spraying from 30 000 feet is a ridiculous way of delivering an agent to ground level , nerve agents would be dispersed and completely ineffective.


In the paranoid 1950,s the threat of aggression from Russia was perceived as real and imminent , as soon as both sides had atomic weapons there was development in biological and chemical , Britain was a world leader in their development at this time at Porton Down , V agents and anthrax amongst other successful products.

As the USA had refused to share atomic weapons research with us postwar despite Britain's huge contribution to the Manhattan project , other options were explored to fill the gap till we developed our own in 1952.

For civil defence it was necessary to assess the dispersion , persistence and viability of these systems on a population using common bacteria types , the USA will have done similar or worse.

Radioactive dispersion and persistence would have been tested as well , but data from Australian tests would have provided the bulk of it.

Some people became ill , a few may even have died , but acceptable in historical context in a country that had recently lost 60 000 civilians to conventional bombing.

It is reprehensible now in hindsight but not when considered in the context of the cold war sixty years ago.

Freezing will kill some bacteria but not all, especially if its been modified, desiccated.

If they take into consideration altitude and wind direction speed etc, im sure they know where most of its going to land. If one of the main targets is the joe public and population reduction, they cant really miss can they.

The MSDS for that jet fuel actually states that it is immiscible with water , of extreme importance as any water mixed or absorbed into the fuel could separate in fuel systems and freeze.
This has been the cause of many accidents , blocked fuel lines and filters starving or stopping engines in flight.

The water in a contrail comes from combustion , not any tiny amount in the fuel itself.

The fact is that the combustion of a tonne of aviation fuel will produce a tonne of water when it is burnt , same process as the petrol engine in your car.

At ground level you see it as steam or water dribbling from your car exhaust , at 30 000 feet and temps of -40 c it becomes ice crystals.

Have spent the last 50 years liveing in the Midlands UK with four major airports in all directions , the increase in air traffic has been enormous during this time.

I could have taken thousands of pictures prior to 1990 which would have shown exactly the kind of contrails that cause alarm nowadays , before digital cameras this would have been an expensive obsession.

The switch from turbo prop to jet engines and the higher altitudes now used for fuel efficiency have made them more obvious and noticeable over the decades.

Persistant and short lived contrails have always been there but not every day , temperature and humidity at altitude determineing if they are visible or not , they often merge into cirrus cloud.

You would not easily spot an airliner you cannot hear at 30 000 feet without seeing a contrail to show its presence , on a no spray day the planes are still there.
