Thats why they are stretchy, very badly rootbound.

When plants get rootbound and they are kept like that they grow tall and lanky like.
If you have a pot/bag that is taller than wider they will grow tall and lanky too.......

WHat are you using to test your ph? 5-7 is a big jump, that is jumping from hydro range to soil range.......

Even though you are in flower... if you have more than 2 weeks left I would DEFINATLY transplant; I never reccomend it unless it is a 100% must. Those plants will not finish flowering properly in 1 gallon size bags/pots.

How tall is the plants?

Another thing...... 4 ml= 1 teaspoon. how many liters of water are you using with your mixture?

You are also feeding just a bit to much to soon...... I would feed weekly; but the most important thing is getting them out of those pots...... I would love to see a pic of them roots..... I bet they have been around the pot at least 10 times......

you are at 33 days?Keep an eye on trichs. Either way you will lose yield. I had to transplant my 6 foot monster cause she got so far into flowering then her bud growth stopped.... I put her into a 10 gallon from a 5 gallon and she rooted nearly the entire rest of the extra pot space in 3 weeks. Her bud growth exploded once I transplanted her.

So if she is near finish in the next 2 weeks I would not bother transplanting her.......
Just get a microscope and check on the trichs heads....... you want more cloudy/amber

clear ones are immature and won't give you nothing.

Well the stretched one is 3ft, the others r 27-29inches but latley stretching stopped & buds r increasing daily. But the thin-stretched one is the tallest & her leaves r showing those symptoms. There is another one stretched a little but she's healthy & the one thats got most trichs on buds, still miky tho .


















sorry i didn't explain it well about the nutes. I give them 500ml each plant evry 3 days (judjing by wieght) thats 2 & half litres. 1ml bio-grow per litre, 2ml bio-bloom per liter & 2ml Topmax per liter. I feeding them nutes with evry watering because thats what the biobizz chart says, its not some kind of my experiment & this is the first time i'm using all Oraganic. Now from next watering i should give them 3ml bloom per liter & keep that way till finish.
The growbags weren't really my choise cos when i germinated them i had 14 plants & in that 3x3ft space i had to use them instead of pots, now just 5 females out 14 the rest were males
Anyway planning a 60day flowering run so i'll transplant her by herself then, i used the same growroom for my last 2 grows & my first testgrow was in a wardrobe, but as soon as these finish i'm gonna make a bigger & better growroom for my next run.

Right now they'r switched off but tomorrow when i transplant, i'll take some shots of the roots... Tnkx for the help & useful info...

Ok, I am confused here.... so you use 2 ml of each the bio bloom and topamax and 1 ml o f the grow?

That is to much... adding all that you are not even using a gallon size... not to mention every 3 days...... try using 1 ml of each to 4 liters of water and feed every 7 days. for now........ THey are starting to get a buildup of salts so stop now while you are ahead of it

hey stitch man i had no clue you were doing it big like this, i guess i gotta put you on my buddy list if you dont mind. but reading a previous post has me wanting to ask a Q.

i transplanted the NYCD plants from 1gl pots to 1gl grow bags, since the extra room was just that significant. well now that i think about it, its turned into a couple Q's.

-i have one of them thats long and stretchy and i honestly think its a male, the others are nice lush and bushy. its just this particular one man. . .i just dont get that "good vibe" you know? but well see.

- one of them has split into two different tops, and i didnt cut a a damned thing. what i noticed form the time it popped was that , it grew kinda akward and askew. now thats its grown a couple more inches its now got two tops, i mean viable tops!! and remember i havent cut a thing!! i wanna know do you think its worth being bothered with/ growing out at all. ofcourse its not following any sort of "growth pattern" in the beginning, but it seems to be doing fine now. should i be concerned or just grow it out.

lol, yup frankenblunt; been doing this for a LONG time now...... nope, I do not mind at all, I already had you on my BL anyways lol.

You growing them from seed? When you grow from seed you can get different phenos... some may be short bushy and some tall and lanky. But I would not be concerned about the 2 viable tops; just let them grow out. Some do just grow out nicely; my OB did that I just had to slightly help a bit by pulling the 2 tall ones out of the way. When they get like that depending on how much room you got you can train them and it makes it so much easier to train when they are like that.
The only problem I see with that plant.... it will end up getting heavy with buds lol.
You will end up having to defiantly support that plant since it branched out into 2 so quickly and left the main stalk so short..... the bigger you veg her out the more chance you have of those stalks breaking when you get into flowering.... normally they end up splitting a little farther down the road when the plant does it.. or....either when you top them.... or fim them.....but really you want them to be splitting like that.... that is why people top/FIM..... Pretty much your plant self fimmed and topped itself lol.

Hey np man, this thread was made loooongggg time ago. I just went on leave of absence for awhile and the thread got side tracked and pushed behind... but it stays up here now that I am back.
My other friends were helping it too answering questions.
Anyone can chime in on there opinions too; the more the better


here is a picture of one of my plants we topped and fimmed, later we pulled the biggest 2 branches.. which would be the 2 branches that split on your plant...... we tied them back just a little allowing more light in the middle so they could catch up.... and the end result was a nice even canopy of colas!

I use this chart, 2 & half liters water in all, 500 of it each & i mix the ammounts i mentioned with evry liter, if there's 2 & half liters water,thats 2 & half ml grow (to make it 1ml per 1 liter) then 5ml bloom & 5ml topmax all mix with 2 & half liters.Now althaugh on the chart says 3 ml bloom per liter, i'm still giving 2ml per liter.

Those charts are always causing issues..... unless it's made specifically for cannabis it would be different.

Using those charts for your grow is like using that chart how much food to feed every single person on the earth.... everyone is different so there is no way the chart is going to work everytime. Same goes for the plants. Cannabis is more sensitive to nutrients than other plants are.....most of the time. Some came handle a ton more nutrients...... some can't handle a very small amount.......

I would not use that much nutrients; much much easier to start low and go higher.....
Soil grows takes a few days before you will notice any changes after feeding.
Few days to see the effects...

So I would use 1 ml per gallon of each for now and get them into new pots; root bound plants have issues taking in nutrients too from the roots being so crowded.

So forget using that chart.... most growers mistake is always listening to the back of the bottles/box.

It all depends on the size of the plant/ that determines how much you feed.
Now if you were using something like hydrozyme or sensizyme.. you could double up your nutrients a bit.... but you are not so you need to start low and work your way up......

Then i'll forget that chart... I'll go low from now on, 1ml of each per liter... like i said this is my first time i used Organic nutes, But i always started with 25% streinght & work my way up evry 2 weeks even b4, with chemical nutes. Since they got 3-4 weeks more i'm not gonna transplant all of them since the other 4 look healthy green,straight leaves,buds packing up & tight nodes, I transplant just the weak one... I know it might effect yield but next time i won't use those bags. Anyway for next grow i'm updating my growroom for bigger space, cos thats the reason why i used growbags in this run.
U seem to know quite well about this hobby of ours its good to know. Thanks again Stitch very few give help like u do & thats much appreceated, This is the second time i asked for your help. The first time on my 2nd grow when i had a terrible heat issue from 84-96f temps .Tnkx & wish u lots of luck .

THe ones that are not bothered by the bags ya you can leave them; watch how much the others will get bigger just from switching over; just before going into flowering you can always go up 1 or 2 gallon sizes from where it was before as long as it's more indica than sativa... sativas flower longer and need bigger pot sizes.

Ya, those charts are so worthless man... I have seen more people go by them than there gut instinct and it just causes issues down the road.

Your plants will show you quickly if they are not getting enough food; on the other hand burn takes a few days to rear it's ugly face and by then with soil you gotta fix it quickly.....
Your plants are looking very healthy stoned very nice green, Another reason why it's better to slightly under fed than over..... plants can grow but with rich soil the roots are stunted and the plant sits there.......

less stress comes with under feeding than over feeding with all the flushing of the soil you have to do.

Your problem is you do not need to flush; I would just water her good for a bit, she just had a slight build up in the soil.

I gave her plain water yesterday with ph adjusted as usual, since she is 3ft i bend her abit & tied her up cos about 2 weeks ago she got into the MH & got burned abit

but now strecting seem to have stopped since i bent her 2 weeks ago. The one behind her althaugh she got a little stretchy too, her buds r the most trich-covered. Because of those gaps between the nodes, her buds r not as big as the other tight-node plants...

My brother is using firefox & i'm digging it too, u can imagine how pissed i got after esaring the whole post & starting again . Talkin about birds, i'm sure our Parrot is not gonna dive on my keyboard, cos allthaugh we leave his cage open for days, he doesn't come out . He just stays there swinging,playing,whistling & talking lol... Unbelievable! Sometime i try to lure him out with peanuts (cos he likes them) but he won't . The one we had b4 him like very much to come out. LOL he flew sometimes & crashed in the windows (birds don't see glass) lol scary & funny at the same time...

Oh god, i hate when they grow into the light like that; it freaks me out; one of mine did that and I was all freaked like the bulb was going to break or something LOL

That was when I had my 400. Dude, what kind of parrot do you have?? Thats nuts how he stays in his cage; I spoiled mine I guess; she only goes in her cage to rest and if she is being bad. She is hardly ever in there.... she is potty trained to go on her gym sets; one in the living room and one in my room. I have an african grey parrot. Lately she talks back to me; when she is really bad and I go Stop!! Bad Bird! She goes NO! no! no! lol

Here is a few pics of her; this is what I looked like just about every night.

Oh god; my bird learned a hard lesson about glass.
I have no idea what it is with birds and glass.... they can't see those cable thingys either; that help hold up cell phone towers.

AFRICAN GREY mine too , so far we had 4 african greys cos they'r the most parrots that talk lol, cool. I'll post pics of it as soon as this pic upload problem gets fixed, honestly i don't if its male or female but he speak now,not too much but he's still learning, he calls our names, sometimes he says a long funny broken sentence & he changes his voice too. He likes us & he likes to play alot, he lets me kiss him on the beak lol very sweet, i got a few bites on my fingers too lol while scraching his head. when we approach him he bend his head down to scratch his head & at the same time he says scratch lol...From what u'r saying i don't think u spoiled your bird at all, gym sets? she trains oh thats sweet lol, i love em.
yes thats really nuts how mine stays in, he likes climbing up & down the cage,swinging,talking,whistling & all that stuff so evry morning we take him out in the balcony & says funny thing to passers by lol. The first one we had was real talker, what ever u tell him he answers back,he laughed lol thats was funny to hear him laugh after u,he use to ask if u want tea or coffee,What r u doing,he said some bad words too & not to mention the hellos,goodnights & goodbyes... lol

I have a ton of videos on youtube of me and my bird; also got some of my son when he was 3 years old playing mario sunshine for the gamecube and beating levels like the sand bird and gooper blooper; my son is my pride and joy!

THose birds are insainlly intelligent; they have to have constant social contact and love.... at least mine does lol. Oh god I got nips on me too; he loves to hang from my pony tail and make burping sounds in my face... oh god I can't stand that; and when she trys to regurgitate her food to me..... she thinks I am her mate.

I had her DNA sexed; they sent me the results like a birth certificate of a human.. lol Pretty neat though.

You can tell if they are male or female.. after they hit 1 year,you look under there tail feathers; the males have solid red feathers, the females have silverish tips on there secondary tail feathers.. you would have to have her step up and raise her up a bit and look at her feathers under her tail... you will know what I am talking about. The females are the only ones that do not have solid red feathers under there tail.... they have there long tail feathers and then under there long feathers they have there secondary tail feathers.. those are the ones that have the silvery tips.
Males will have solid red all over; you won't see a bit of silver on them.

I made her 2 gyms and she has a ton of other toys that she climbs on; I made up some blue prints of her new high tech gym I am going to build her in the living room. I made a nice part of the living room set aside just for her hanging gyms

She is the only pet I have left; all my others have died on me in freak accidents that is way to painful to talk about..... lets just put it this way I lost 3 cats and 2 dogs in one years time.......

The story is freaked out; I will talk about it some time I can choke it up and tell.
Anyways.... I am so surprised your grey is like that; normally they are not like that. Does yours fly all the time?

Mine is not clipped; she flies all around the house; thank god she is potty trained; cause man she would never get that freedom she does if she was not trained.
WHat happend to your other greys?

Mine is 2 years old; had her since she was 4 weeks old; hand fed her and hand rasied her. Her mother was beating her alive pretty much; got her for a steal compared to what other greys cost.... bought her for 650.00 USD.
They plucked her down off her and preened her to death she had nothing to keep her warm.
Do you keep track of how many words and such he/she can do?
I always love hearing them talk; what is even neater... they all sound different!
Mine has over 70 words and around 25 different sound effects; meows and barks; does 3 telephone rings and even the GIT R DONE ringtone my boyfriend has on his phone....

Ya, that problem is happening to me; unable to read file format; which is why I did not upload any pictures lol.

Yes, I was out sweeping the deck and she was perched on the chair and she darted for me and bammed right into the glass..... she never flew towards that glass again.

She even got out once which was my stupid fault; she could not fly to well; and I had her outside with me and right before I walked indoors she flew off my shoulder; needless to say she would not come down I chased her for 2 hours; she ended up perched across the street on a electrical wire BARKING at me.
I put out flyers, because I lost track of her so the next morning I get a call from 5 hours down saying they seen my bird in there tree; I asked them are you sure they said yes, because she was growling at them and she was grey lol I go ok it's her and I coaxed her down with food.
She never flew outside again; I have a hard time putting her leash on her to take her outside... so she got freaked every since of the outdoors.
