sorry Rez if it sounded as if as i said you got them banned..there was some pretty whack numbers/assupmtions being thrown around..and as far as ibls' go i know nothing of making one, i leave that to you..i have come to realize some people sure seem to nik-pik the hell out of you..having grown both soma's nycd and rez' sd ibl the sdibl was far superior imvho..no clone only experience tho..Hiya.
I didn't "have" them banned,IC Admin did.
I'm not Admin,and don't know why Admin do what they do.
I do know that Admin knows what "sock puppets" are, and they are loosely familiar with "trolls" as well.
When one poster drags a an old nic up to agree with himself,that is called a "sock puppet" and is against TOU.
People don't get banned for disagreeing with me,or even being willfully ignorant.
I love a good discussion,and even a heated one is okay from time to time-It's good for the blood.
However,when you have someone who can't even define what an "f1 hybrid" is,trying to tell me that Reservoir's Sour Diesel IBL is (somehow) an "f1 hybrid" & after having explained (ad nauseum!) what one is and that SD IBL is not an "f1 hybrid",I lose the desire to communicate with that uneducated individual or individual(s),sock puppets included.

Sour is the shit ..that stuff sells with eyes closed and hands tied around the back ..smell is what really makes it unique the taste I noticed has a flowery bottom end ..with a rich topend ..it lingers ..I can find sour in 2 secs in nyc ..its all a prefrence ..I'm grown tired of it ..its a social smoke ..but its one of those strains nobody is gonna refuse

I should be expecting about 3,000,000,000,000 (trillion) grams from the four,4' Sour D's in the greenhouse. Per month.
When Reservoir get its' first trillion grams I'm gonna' need a few hundred thousand trimmers-I was considering renting out all of the trimmers in NorCal but I think I'll just wait until my trillion grams of Sour Diesel is cured and then @ .50/gram will just g'head & buy a whole state,maybe Montana, instead.
I dont know Rez, seems kind of tough, but w/ an f14 I guess anything is possible...

Cravenmore...nice pics! Maybe it's true that original NYCD parents were lost by Soma, because that "01" NYCD girl of yours sure is special and looks much more sour than any other NYCD that I have seen.

Soma lost his NYCD Mom in a Dutch police raid in '04/'05,along with his Amnesia Haze Mom,and he had no backup copies stored elsewhere....
Soma then selected new "NYCD" and "Amnesia" moms from his Soma Seed packs,and things were really never the same.
The "NYCD" Clone that permeates Amsterdam 'shops these days is a "Gen.2 Soma NYCD" clone,and it is NOT as good as its' predecessor by a long-shot,though it is rather mild & tasty herb. Fwiw,the original "Amnesia Haze" clone that Soma had was some of the most psychedelic weed I've ever smoked. Unfortunately,it never did replicate well in seed form.
Reservoir regularly rotates as many as 20 varieties,but flower between one and five. It's a giant PITA to keep Parent Stock around,especially when not growing it for flowers,as it has to be cut the fuck back until it's too big,then re-cloned and the big ones flowered,tossed or given away like clockwork to keep on-point and not waste time/space. (And no,I don't believe in keeping giant Moms,or plants off in a dusty corner under a 150MH.) All Reservoir's Moms are kept under robust,healthy conditions-and I haven't lost one,yet. ....Intentionally stunting natural growth,beyond cutting back top growth,is anathema to me.
I'd LOVE to have a tissue culture lab and keep slides of everything "on ice" until needed. Wouldn't THAT be nice?

Thanks for the info on rotation of your stock I did not even know this was necessary. I just started reading some breeding books like I was back in college so hopefully they explain this at least a little...

I have both the sd ibl and soma's NYCD (2003ish). I love them both. I have trouble pick a clear winner. I have kept both mothers I have for quite a while and don't plan on getting rid of them. Thanks to both Rez and Soma for the work they put into these. They are among the best strains I have tried.

Does anyone have any info on the New York Lemon Diesel Automatic? I was told it may be a cross between NYCD Auto and Lemony Skunk... any other info would be appreciated

The ones I have seen are from Cheesehead Auto's. It is a cross of NYCD x NYLD (Lemon Skunk x NYCD)
More info on his NYLD that was crossed with NYCD:

To make the f2 NYLD I used a nyld ( lemon skunk dom ) female and a nyld (diesel dom) male, Hand picked from 15 plants. With the f2s you will be sure to find more diesel in the mix. Found about 90% of the nyld f1s were mainly (lemon skunk dom), With the f2s the mix of lemon and diesel is 50/50 ,if you are lucky you might find the stinker pheno. Expect some healthy, plump looking buds finished from seed in 70 days"
So it's based off of the Soma NYCD genotype, rather than Sour Diesel.

I bought a pack of Soma's NYCD x G13 about two years ago. How does that compare with the 00-03 NYCD and Rez SD? Does the G13 aid the NYCD any? I have a few more beans and a mother. Also 2 clones in flower as we speak. This forum has me a little uneasy about my exspensive purchase. Every strain is different just as people. It's a pleasure to have Rez, Soma, and any other cannabis cultivator. Why we do it for the love of it. Thanks icmag

Soma's G13 Haze x NYCD leaves SD and NYCD in the water.
Just like NYCD, a pack of G13 Haze x NYCD has a few different pheno's.
The exquisite pheno has a taste of Sour tangerine and red grapefruit. Makes ya drool!
Oh yeah, and it'll blow yer head off, for hours...
That sounds like it would be a great cross. Amnesia Haze (G13Haze) seems to improve what ever it's crossed to. I never got a chance to try Sour Cream (Original Sour Diesel x G13Haze) that should be intense as well.
