Hello all,
Its looking like this is the time to chop (59 days) according to the trichs. They look quite done but while I like the couchlock high I also like the more head high.
I have two plants of different pheno's. It seems others have been growing 65-70 or longer. I know this will increase my yield some but I am wondering if the increase in mass will be worth the wait and the more predominately couchlock stone and more trichs become cloudy and amber.
Also, would like to report that I found two small banana husked (dried and crumblely) indicating a hermie isssue. I have not found seeds yet. I am hoping maybe the bananas were very few or even better sterile. As I have said I have not found any seeds but they are still growing. The calyx's do not looked seeded...that is a plus.
I will get some pics next time as I did not bring the camera out tonight.

EDIT: Its has been confirmed that one of my sdog went hermie....not busting out all over the place just an isolated dry banana husk and I just found a rather mature seed (just one) in a second taster bud.
This could be a grower induced hermie as I have had temperature flucutations that ranged from 70* lights on temps and 58*F lights off and the following week the temps increased by 10*F for a few days.
My point is I believe that the temp fluctuations may have caused this.
Addendum: It is now also beleived I may have had a light leak for about a week during the 4 week of flower.
But I am actually glad as I could use the beans for myself.

Day 61 and they are done.
The trichs are mostly cloudy with 15% amber. Yet I want to let them go another couple of days I think.
I may chop the smaller one now and the bigger one in a few days.
As to scoring some weed to hold me over...its still not happened yet.

can ant one tell me what are the phenos that are present in the sdog line .i have one that is short and stocky and smells like skunk.i am guessing its the og side.big fat leafs and stacked with good resin production.

Milo, 80 days.....what are the trichs lloking like(clear/amber/cloudy) my friend.
As I mentioned my Sdogs look quite done. I am puzzled by this. Could this be a grower/growing environment that caused either early maturation of mine or delayed yours? At any rate, you sure do gain the benifits of extra growth.
I have read the thread from teh beginning and I do not recall (could be stoned though) if any others have gone as long as yours.
Anyway, the taster I took last night (very small bottom bud was done.see pic above) is dry this morning and I smoked a bong....Very nice high. Smooth given no cure. A very odd smell, no citrus smell. The buds are solid.

Out of 4 females I saw 3 phenos. One tall and lanky with lots of internode spacing like a sat. Buds were nice cotton balls loaded with resin glands. Another had fat leaves, was much shorter and had internodes so tight it would have been tough to count them....obv. indica dom. And most of the bud was concentrated around the main stem.dan woody said:

this is the stocky pheno she is at day 37 and getting fat .i watered her a strong tea. organic ferts now i will just feed her kelp and a mix of earth worm tea and mollasses. shes under 1000 watts one 400 eye and a 600air cooled hood.she is stinky when rubbed.i do have a carbon scrubber 6" can fan set up.i only grow for myself.
minds_I The trichs are about 25%clear 50%cloudy and 25%amber........We will see if it is grower/growing environment that caused early maturation in yours and delayed mine. I have cuts of this pheno. I also have 2 more phenos left to finish. The closest (#3) is @66 days 12/12 (still not done).

yours looks like it might be the sd phenotype. mine is the kush/nl side it look like a good sog plant .but i will let her go more cloudy/amber for a good couch lock .i have 5 beens left that i need to germ.i want a 50/50 mix plant .i am still going to make some f2 for futer phenotype .

man she stinks i moved her from her spot to take some pics and sheeeet it smells like skunk or something man you will have to hid that stuff with something .can some body tell me what to use to cover up the smell when you got it on you.

I use little mason jars, or if you go to a craft store they usually have really small glass jars with a rubber gasket lid that has a latch. These work very well and are only a couple bucks apiece. I recently found very small mason jars. Maybe 1 1/2" wide by 1 1/2" tall. Never seen 'em this small before. Empty 35mm film cannisters work well sometimes, depending on design. Hope this helps.

All you guys are very lucky to have this cross I have bein out the game for a year or two and lost all my strains cuz I had to a shitty landlord where I lived but at a new spot now and hopefully I can post so awsome pic's of strain like you guy have, love this cross a few of you have.Great pic everybody.

I have had tasters already but the only thing I can comment on is the high. Which was a nice bidy stone with a up high. NOt couchlock (yet)

minds_I...Looks great man. Glad to hear you got it finished up. Let us know how it turns out. I found it got much better after about a month, as far as taste and smoothness goes. I went from liking it, to it being one of my favorites. I can't help but keep going back to it even after I say I'm gonna smoke something else.
nice looking plant minds_I! It looks a lot like mine. My 1st SDog is dry now...boy is she tastey. The best yield I have had as well, 60g with a 10" pot. The high is outstanding. I can not wait to run her again.

at day 54 .and the buds are rock hard small but hard.my plant is more indaca then sativa so i guess its og side.i think i will let it go 70 days. so i will start flushing her at next water with sweet water.is ther any one else with this short stocky pheno.i am going to germ the last 4 seeds next .I do have a few seeds in her of c99.so i will have some jlp sdxogbx1xgno3 c99. man this cross is going to be some frosty stuff.
