what if you reveg until you can take some clones off of her? not sure if you chopped it yet. Looks like a nice pheno.

My veg is currently full, there is no way to fit a 5 gal pot. My veg cab is only 24"x36"X48". I would have to make some kind of makeshift chamber in which do reveg it. I was thinking about it. I still am. I willl probably hold off until tonight to decide/harvest. What does everyone think? what would you do to enclose a 5 gal pot until it revegges enough to take clones? how much light do you think it would need?

If you are doing a reveg, you don't need all those roots anyway. Saves the 4 lowest, smallest buds and harvest the rest. Take it out the bucket and cut the roots off with a knife that you use to cut bread with, so that what you have left is a 4 x4x4inch root mass with a trunk and 4 small buds. repot that into a pot with an inch of fresh soil all the way around and in 30 days you'll be set.

I'm not a re-veg expert or anything, but I've heard you're not supposed to cut the roots until it's started to veg.

If I thought the plant was something I'd want to keep, I'd find a way to keep it. Whether it be putting 3 or 4 veg'ing plants into 12/12 to make room or just buying an extra flouro.

as you said, you're no expert, its what you "heard". I've revegged a few dozen over the years and have always cut the rootball. I have lost one in recent memory but I grow more sativa side of things. In my experience, not "heard", indicas can be more difficult to takke the revegg.

I reveged a SDOG with no problem by keeping it in the same pot and giving it plain water until leaf sprouts started coming out. There were four small lower nugs left like brookie said and it only took about two weeks to show the leaf sprouts. My pheno seems more indica than Milo's though so there could be a difference in reveging.

I took my best pheno out of the pot and loosened up the roots (before reveg) then i put her in a pot with good soil with the roots spread pretty high up in the pot under 20w cfl . Its been 3 weeks and she looks like a vegging plant on a mission to give me some clones lol :rasta:

Hello all,

I got 19 grams dry from each plant for a total of 38 grams dry. NOt a steller record but not bad for my setup )250w hps).

Nugs are tight and smell great. Its so hard to discribe a smell. It has a smooth flavor, no bite even though its not cured. Burns clean and smokes smooth. Does have a slight bite on exhale but this is due to no cure I am sure. The nugs are hard and dense. Quite frosty. Excellent leaf to calyx ration and easy trim (as most of the bud leaves are thickly coated with trichs).

I did mention I found a few banana's when trimming and so far hvae about 3 seeds from each plant.

I am saving these beans for later use. I found that I had two environment issues with temperature and light leaks. I am feeling good that I have eliminated the light leak and temps are stablized. these should be inclined to be females as I understand it.

Anyway, the smoke is great and I have clones in floweer now and cuts inteh bubbler also. I hope to keep this around for a little while.

Thanks John,

In an atempt to save my SDog#3 I took the only cuts I could possibly take

Then I am trying to reveg her as well. but I have never done so without keeping the roots intact. So here goes nothing. the roots that were left

A nice pic of her in an 8" pot with fresh soil.......

Cross your fingers. I think she will make it.:D

hey dan:wave:
I have not smoked any of her. I have smoked some of her sister and it was some skunky petrol fueled like I have never had before. I have never grown/smoked a diesel before. I got three ladies and this was the pheno I did not get cuts from. she looks like she might be a keeper, so just in case, I am attempting to save her.:D

Plus everyone who answered my dilema on this thread suggested that I reveg/take cuts. :joint:

your revegg looks ok. Don't overwater, usually I only water once until I see new growth but if your room is warm you may need to water it before it shows growth. I usually take off more bud material but you should be fine. Stick it under 24/0 and forgetaboutit for a couple of weeks.
