The last time that I heard of the federal gov.(U.S.) trying to prosecute anyone for confiscated seeds was back in the late eighties. It is simply too difficult(nearly impossible) to prove that you ordered the seeds; particularly if they weren't in your name. But even if they were in your name that proves nothing as anyone could have ordered them. Now if a local task force is alerted, comes by your house and see 20 plants in the backyard, well then, you know.
I've been ordering seeds for over 15 years and I may have been really lucky but I had never had an order not make it until last month. I believe it was just lost as I never got anything.
