Ive heard Chicago can be ruthless. In my experiences, it seems as though customs has caught onto to some certain companies packaging and process and are more apt to be seezed that from other companies. Dont want to name names on the companies that tend to be siezed, but I can honestly say that Seedboutique has made it through on every single order. Do you all think Customs always notifies? I've had a couple orders not show and to this day unsure if they were confiscated, lost, or the seedbanks perhaps never actually shipped my seeds.

this is false information. Customs will notify local leo and if they are bored they will show up at your house.

Ya. I've seen literally hundreds of threads like these since OG...this is literally the first I've heard of anyone having the authorities show up because of a customs letter. 'Course, don't you need to show ID to open a P.O. box? Not much different from having em sent to your house if they've got all the info they need.....
The drug task force showed up 4 guys. they wanted to do a knock and talk. and ask me about ordering beans.
Said customs had seized a package and they wanted to look around and inside my place.
I told them absolutely no way. They got very aggressive and circled around me putting pressure to be let inside. this went on for a half hour.
I requested to go back in my house and they said no, not unless a officer went with me.
This argument went on for another half hour and they absolutely refused to let me enter my house.
They did not have a warrant and I asked if I was being detained. They said no so I said I will be leaving then and you absolutely cannot enter my home.
I left and they went and got a warrant and busted down the door. I am now in serious shit.
Unfortunately I listened to the advice from several of these boards that said nothing will happen if they confiscate a package.

No one I mean no one knew I grew and I never sold. my closest friends never even had any idea I smoked. I'm a loner type. and keep to myself . This bust came from solely ordering beans.
I've seen all the nonsense about people never getting busted so I finally thought I should speak up to try to save some fellow members some severe hardship.

I had my suppression of evidence hearing last week and they flew the customs agent from chicago to come up and testify.
He stated that every package that gets intercepted gets logged into the computer. From the original affidavit it says I was flagged and all my mail was watched.
I had a motion to suppress that the warrant was illegal since they did not have a search warrant to open the package. U.S. vs reynolds a 1977 supreme court decision states that they need a warrant to open mail.
Since the patriot act and usc customs code 19 they only have to have "reasonable" suspicion now
So, I lost the hearing.

Wow Angus, this really sucks for you. I'm sorry to hear this happened. It to me is very gestapo-like. Even though something was on its way to you it seems like a judge cannot grant a warrant without some other evidence. It just all seems too aggressive.

Sorry Angus but I slightly suspect that you are on a counter intelligence propaganda mission here at IC. Since you are so new and have such a devastating story there.
First it is hard as hell to flag a persons mail, they would have to have the machine programmed to set aside you mail for manual inspection. They only manually inspect when the machine cannot read the address or when customs just happens to sort through your package in the needle in the haystack search technique. Or something more unusual about a package, smells, dangerous symptoms breaching the terms of use. I don't think they have a particular program for small things such as what we are discussing. Your local narcs must of been having a hard on for you for quite some time to go through all of this over a pack of seeds......that or you are one, can't really prove either or.
So what did the cops find in your house? How long did they wait after said seizure until they disturbed you? Why didn't you just not answer the door or just sit out front and say nothing.
As far as I can tell, finding seeds mailed (hopefully not in your real name) is not enough PC for a search warrant for you home. If that was the case, tons of people could set others up doing just that. Given that a past record doesn't help, but PC can be a hard case in some situations.

I printed up a fake version on some business card stock from staples, laminated it and gave it to the nice little ole lady at the shipping place with a fake scanned copy of my electric bill for the second piece printed on some heavier pound paper. She never blinked an eye at it.
Its not like you are underage trying to buy beer where the clerk examines it throughly.

anyways after the last intercept,about 2 years ago, i gave up ordering seeds.
well i was choosen to do a test grow,geisha/head seeds..good stuff man,last year so i figure screw it their free and had them shipped to the same SAFE ADDY that the last intercept happend at...sure enough i got em,the seeds....
yeah so i do not believe they "flag" the addy,name...
