Back at OG the thought of Blueberry in DWC was anathema for many growers...lol

Those ladies are well ferted, green, healthy, and already frosty :yummy: ....lookin good!

Hey -VT- I thought the same thing because of what I read on OG back in the day, but ever since I got this clone I knew it would be easy. I remember BB was said to be one of, if not THE most difficult strain to grow, and I am just not experiencing this. This indica pheno is VERY vigorous...eats like a hog. It is in very sharp contrast to what I used to hear on OG.

The ONLY thing I don't like is the fact that the scale attack this variety MUCH more rampantly than others. They really seem to prefer the woody stalks and have been much more voracious against this strain. I'm just hoping she is strong enough to make it to harvest and give me some decent bud despite their horrendous attacks.

26 days of flower. Can't get canopy shots anymore, so all I have to show now is the wall of buds I am greeted by when I open the closet door. There is no longer enough room between the lights and the canopy to get a shot, nor enough room to raise them significantly.

These puppies have stretched a good 2-2 1/2' above the screen. I can hardly check the thermometer behind the buds, and forget about seeing the "little gray box" timer again for a while...

Things are getting frosty quickly after heavy doses of awesome blossoms and a touch of thrive alive. The scent is definitely of berries, but very light, and only when disturbed for the most part. They have a slight blueish hue to the leaves at certain angles which is interesting. I'm hoping to see more color towards the end of flower.

Here's a couple frosty buds and "the wall"....

-VT- I wasn't kidding when I said stretch! Now I just need the buds to fill in those big inter nodal spaces.

outame 2  That's one fat beautiful girl there! I just bumped them up to about 1250ppm and they seem to be happy there. At this point each plant is taking up about a gallon per day of water, so this is the fun part. I get where I can't wait for the lights to come on each day so I can see em even after four years of this stuff. Interacting with nature and producing your own food, bud, etc. is so exhilarating it's hard to get enough of it.

There is a certain part of reality and perception that can not be achieved without cannabis. Our brain, and in fact, all the cells of our bodies utilize cannabinoids. There are literally receptors in our brain that do nothing but await the contact of cannabinoids. Cannabis is like one of many keys to the mysterious lock we call the human brain and it's capabilities.

Should mankind as a whole ever wish to reach true enlightenment, I insist that without the use of cannabis spirituality and a truly open mind this will never come to fruition.

Some budshots.......The buds are kicking along at a pretty decent rate this time. No boo boos with the light schedule so far and things are going good. This strain is turning out to be a super frosty bitch. Might even contend with the skum widow haze...but we'll see.

So far I'm pretty impressed with this Dutch Passion Blueberry. I would indeed recommend giving this one a try so far based on what I'm seeing. For what many have considered a knock-off strain, I'm actually quite pleased so far. I'm gonna share these over on the budshots thread too.

Hey hazy! These are about 30 days into what I expect to take 70 days or so...just getting to where the frosty calyxes are swelling and becoming visible instead of looking like just clumps of pistils everywhere. I have a feeling this might be one heck of a finish if the scale don't ravage it to death before then.

Hey -VT-

I am just loving this strain. So super frosty, beautiful bud formation....I don't know what to say. I am having a blast taking photos. This is a rare opportunity for me to get so many good gooey bud shots.

The other strains I have grown are great. However, the frost on this one is much heavier than I've seen. I do need to run my skum widow haze plant again under better conditions to see how well it does now. Ahh heck...

Anyway..I think I may have miscounted days. We're at day 35 today after a recount, lol! :bashhead:

Check these ladies out!

Great thread you have here S2D

I didn't get a chance to go over the whole thread yet, but I read the first page to get to know your setup and skimmed through the rest.

I really wanted to come by and see your DP BB's...and a what a frosty treat they are :yummy: They got a great frost at an early date :canabis: Looks like you'll be a happy man.

I'll be sittin in more often if you don't mind...I'd love to see how these ladies turn out :lurk:

Keep up the great work

Dimebag Hey my brotha! :friends: I'm happy so far. The scent is very faint, mostly when disturbed, and has turned to a lemony pine smell, not the horrid pine sol, but a sweet lemony scent. I am liking it for sure.

TML16 Please do feel free to hang out! These suckers are awesome...my only issue is scale insects. They're starting to do some damage again, which pisses me off :cuss: but what can you do? I just hope they don't affect my yield and I'll be happy. Then we're going for a scorched earth policy in there to make sure they don't come back. :headbange

My Blueberry is very prone to mites :nono:
They just seem to love the Blueberry...since I've had that plant I've had an impossible time getting rid of them permanantly. I have some Diatomaceous Earth now...so I hope I'm successfull in elimination.
