Sittin in my shed....

My shed is my dry room. Full of gardening and lawn care tools/equipment, it's no place to be hanging out at. It plays a critical role in the harvest process and keeps my house from smelling like a skunk den every fall. For that it has a special place in my heart.

All of my tools etc are crammed in one corner so it still has a traditional function too, but it’s most important job is to protect me from the elements while I’m enjoying a joint ... we don’t smoke in the house, so it’s crucial really.
Unfortunately I am not in able to grow outdoor in my current location, but it is my dream to have some trees in the vegetable patch, all fuelled by natural light... it’s been almost 20 years since I had a good outdoor grow.
All the best of luck with the oranges mate :tiphat:

Temperature is rising slowly 25c so far but humidity is 76%, so it’s hard to cool down.
I’d probably be cooler sitting in the grow tent, at least there’s a breeze in there

Good day today, was a pretty nice evening outside- but the intelligent chap next door is trying to burn fresh cut grass on top of the bonfire... smoke is filling the neighbourhood and people’s windows are slamming shut...
I’m quite high though so I’m not too bothered, although I think he’s ruined a few peoples barbecues. I just retreated to the shed.

Mrs B and auntie B took the little lady to the playground this afternoon so after a bit of tidying I took a joint and iced coffee to lie on the trampoline in the shade.. always a good idea to grab ten minutes just staring at the sky, good for stress.
Lovely view:

Think we might be lining up for a house move... I’ll know more next week

Hope everyone had a good weekend :tiphat:

Seedlings about ready to go inside to cabinet.

Question: Does anyone here feel that germinating under less than ideal conditions selects for stronger plants?

I fucked around with some bagseed, dialing in a grow cabinet, and had to deal with some extreme heat. The four that germed and survived are looking like very vigorous and healthy early plants, in spite of conditions that killed 26 other seeds/sprouts.

Just a thought, not really positing an argument point.

Hope you guys have a good week.

only the strong survive, hmm? much like natural selection in the wild. you WILL end up with sturdier plants, i bet. maybe not the highest THC containers, but damn sure stronger.:tiphat:

Snaps and crackles the flying little feckers right out of the air.
I’m not a big fan of flies...

County here said a couple months ago "We have never seen flies like this. Worst in history."

I've got the large size tennis racket swatter (I'm slowly losing my sight) & I use my rechargeable batteries in it, when I'm outside & the flies are biting hard I turn on my large Vornado fan, blows the bastards offn' me is all I care ;)

Many fun times were had watching my drunk buddies do entertaining stuff like touch their tongues to those bug zapping tennis rackets.

I would also recommend "the buzz" fly trap on amazon... I had a pic but my iPhone has died the bastard. Posting on iPad now which I'm not used to, and haven't worked out the iCloud pics thing.
Has anyone tried the bug-a-salt? It's like a salt shotgun for flies

Friday night from the shed, pretty quiet right now... mrs b and little miss b are snoring away, teenager b is out for the night for once ( nice to see him out of his room and hopefully enjoying himself)
Just me and the dog still up, he’s running up and down the garden- think he can hear the local foxes about and clearly wants to intervene- I’m enjoying a chem based joint after a busy day. Got my new phone sorted today (new to me anyhow) so I feel like I got my right arm back, and it’s so much easier to post with a phone for a stoner like me.... one hand typing, the other holding the joint
Good evening to all :tiphat:

We decided to take a visit to my sisters for the weekend.., current crop trimmed, tents awaiting a thorough cleanup on Monday-ish so nothing to do but enjoy the family for a couple of days. School holidays are upon us, so it’s now time to make the most of my little lady.

Went swimming with her today, she’s learning fast.. still in armbands (or floaties, as she calls them) but she’s getting there.

Smoking some of the Chuck Norris harvest and it stinks a good ‘un, so I’ve been rolling in the garden as I’m not permitted to stink the house out
:tiphat:

We Aussies got to see you Poms going to the beach via the train station ... and the TV presenters laughed like fuck because you already had your floaties blown up!!! You were taking them on the train already blown up.

You see Aussies are so ashamed of even needing floaties they hide them until at the beach where everyone's anonymous ...

Thought you'd enjoy this cultural exchange ...

Ooroo ...

I think most of the brits you see are rushing for the beach to make the most of a two day ‘heatwave’ , otherwise known as the British summer. They’ve probably had those floaties inflated for a couple of weeks, watching the weather forecast... waiting to pounce...
Same with barbecue supplies, if there’s a hot spell forecast, the supermarkets get stripped of food and charcoal.
Personally, I prefer to cook outside when it’s cooler weather- but as they say “mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun”

I've been typing w/one hand for years bro ;)

It’s the only way mate :tiphat:

I’ve been giving the old shed a summer clean, half the stuff has been moved out, and I’ve swept and bleached it- just half to go
