well, everything IS bigger in Texas ya know...:tiphat:

In that case, I’d like two Texas-ounces please

Feeling the pain today, my back is giving me plenty of grief this morning- up at 4:30, no point in staying in bed, medicine is running low and I’m a week or two away from cropping.
That’s going to hurt my wallet more than my back!
Trying to stay clear of the codine etc. But might have to have some later.

Oh Dude you sound like me. Killer back pain, can't lay in bed no more and low or out of pain pills. Bitch of a life.

Being in bed, tired and unable to sleep due to the pain is a complete bitch. Kind of have to count my blessings at that stage, and smoke a joint
I had to take some codine this afternoon to take the edge off it, and also obtained some amnesia x super silver which is helping lots... I hate paying for it, and I’ve managed not to for quite a while, but when you’re up at 4:30 and still can’t drop off at 12 it eats the reserves!

I got hit with RA at age 37. I'm almost 39 now. I think it's a result of playing football (American) from ages 8-21.

The pain is manageable (so far). It's the lack of mobility that's fucking with me on the bad days. Plus it just looks cartoonish.

Joint pain is indeed a bitch! As someone with chronic gout and the knees of an old man, I'm trying out tart cherry capsules, which studies have shown are effective for inflammation in the joints.

I find edibles work amazingly for the back pain, unfortunately they also make me sleep like a brick and I need to be slightly aware at night for when little lady wakes up
More pain pills today, i don’t really like taking them

Are there any strains in particular you find that a good effect - at all - for the back?

I hate the broscience aspect of the question, and realize I'm asking for anecdote.

Proper amnesia cuts the spasms like a charm for me, then it’s easier to handle the pain....
edible wise, as long as it’s made with fresh bubble hash anything seems to help, although I’ve not had those for a while.
Codine, ibuprofen and a joint usually helps

I expect it would be hard to find from seed, really you’d need the clone... never grown it myself as I don’t have access to the clone, I buy some buds occasionally though.

Weather report, please. It is 92 degrees at 50% humidity right now where I am. Big storms rolling in tonight and sitting on us for half the upcoming week.

My shed. Testing one of those Chinese 1200/250-at-the-wall Watt lights as a seedling/veg lamp.

In "Veg" mode it only draws 128w at the wall. I'm going to use it on bagseed in case it starts frying things.

Wow that’s too hot for me... luckily it only rarely gets that hot where I am. Although as soon as we get into the 80’s here the humidity tends to shoot up

Nice one mate! Looks a damn sight tidier then my shed. It’s still comfortable though, just the sofa takes up most of the room : tiphat:

I used to live in Notts. I see nearby there's been a lot of rain and flooding. everyone seems (or is it just the media?) to think this is unusual but I remember floods in UK as a kid.

Anyway, my shed roof is sound for the storm we're supposed to get here today 10,000k's from you.

Hope the weather is not too hot seeing as you've got lots of tar and cement around you all over there.

Cheers from Oz! (hope yr Missus is well, Mr Brunch.)

Cheers mate, it’s been a cool summer so far- unusually rainy for June but we’ve had worse. It’s not the best country to be in when it’s hot, as you say too built up, even though I live in a relatively leafy area.
I always preferred the autumn and winter months myself, my mates think I’m crazy... crisp clear air, shorter days and the smell of bonfires in the evening and I’m happy
All the best to you and yours :tiphat:

Edit: hope the storm is not a bad one, be safe

What a day already
Went to pay the bills and payments got declined, headed to the bank not best pleased to be told “you haven’t been paid this week”.
As I am basically a government sponsored carer (not good wages, but that’s not why I do it) so that invariably means an hour phone call , most of it on hold , to then get told “oh yes, it’s our fault we didn’t put the paperwork through. We’ll pay you later”
Sometimes it’s hard to resist the urge to strangle the fuckers.

Just been out to the veg patch to give it a good drenching as the weather is starting to heat up.. fresh still tonight, always nice and therapeutic doing a water in the almost-darkness... for the next week we’re getting high temperatures and humidity, which definitely ain’t my favourite.
I’m looking forward to autumn already :tiphat:

Everyone seems to have missed that it was the Winter Solstice yesterday.

At my place in the Ozzie bush (ha ha sunny Queensland, paradise one day, perfect the next) it has been the coldest winter day so far. Was 4C outside when we got up and 14C in our insulated home. The wood burning AGA was just warm when we got up and so I sat on the hot plates (warm plates) while drinking my morning cuppa.

Then J and I went for a walk ... pausing every now and then to warm ourselves in the pools of sunlight let thru by gaps in the Eucalyptus trees.

It will get to 22C today. There will be not a breath of wind. We will be in our T-shirts and shorts by 10.30.

Peace ...

That sounds so peaceful and amazing... summer solstice here yesterday, but we’ve not had any summer weather so far.
Today is meant to be a good day, so I’m breaking out the barbecue later on and getting some of the family around.. little miss B can’t wait, she asked if it was barbecue time yet at 7am today!
All the best :tiphat:
